I must start by saying screw the quake, screw the quake, screw the quake, everything is like so effing slow now..... earthquakes are cool to experience, isn't it???? but the after effects of one are very uncool lolz... i have to say photobucket is so laggg, connection speed is also chaozz laggg.... like wth... its already few days after the quake....

Forget it, nvm, continue with my update, ok it's 4 days till school reopens and it looks like i'm the only one going to nyjc, haiz, nvm, as long as i'm happy can liao, i need not follow the crowd, however i'm still not looking forward to studying some 3-5 other subjects that i utterly hate, besides geography, it's useless going into school everyday and stoning through all lessons lolz.....

Been experiencing alot of poly life during this holz, the sp cfp programme, the tp rawks programme and chiang mai trip made my 2006 dec holz, not forgetting the O's too hehez... I have to say the final hours of the sing. poly's cfp prog were very memorable. (not wanting to go into details) They had some thing like some club thing, but too bad this time i was sick unlike jam n hop at tp, they music was killing me that day, everytime there is some heavy beat my head would go OW once, wah chao irritating, but must control wad indeed which all paid off, the farewell with our friends was indeed memorable, i have to say it was second to sji's graduation, the feeling was like i don't want to leave this prog. thing, wishing it could carry on.... lolz... indeed it was the company and friends which made sp cfp 2006, if not right it would be like extremely boring and cannot be anymore worse, thks people ^^!!!

Will upload photos another time, the most primary reason is that photobucket is utterly LAGGGG, it's still uploading my photo i sent like 5 mins ago....... ok.... the programme somehow ended quite late at around 2245 so i had to rush home to pack my bag to leave for the airport, reached home around 2345 and packed till 0030, i could only have an hour so of sleep, for a sick patient it was like chao tiring, people never try that if you are sick and nxt time try not to take some flight at 6am in the morning, if not you would have some hard time getting a taxi in the middle of the night when the roads are totally empty, imagine ghost towns..hehez.... 8am would be the best time for a flight.....

For yor info, i went to chiang mai, yes again, 4 yrs later.... i have to say this trip was enjoyable, brought bak numerous memories of my trip 4 years bak with sms and my 6G classmates, but it was still uncomparable to my Taiwan trip in 2005 because of few reasons.

1) My tour grp was like utterly small lah, imagine first day only my family, then second day 6 people, third day was okay with 18, 4th day was free n easy, 5th day was departure day, it was like abit boring hor with u and the tour guide only, maybe im too used to making frenz on holiday trips abroad that i had so much fun hehez, edd, fab, joe...... lolz

2) maybe is my memory that is exceptionally good, lolz, but most of the places that we went to i have went before and have vivid memories of it, but i still enjoyed visiting it again....

3) regretted not trying the bungee jump, lolz, i have the urge of going back to do it now, lolz, surprised people that i would say this but yes, i want to experience alot of new things, lolz, maybe i said this to a few people only, hehez, i'm like willing to try and do anything except jumping out of an airplane, i still cannot come to terms with skydiving, just looking at it freaks me out lolz, i'll think i'll stick with bungee hehez....

But many interesting happenings on this trip also...lolz...

1) I've realized how the world is so small, yeah, i met norman on the streets of chiang mai at a night market lolz, i was like chao surprised when he waved to me...lolz.... he spotted me first not i spotted him first lolz....

2) I've been to Laos, seen the border of Myanmmar upclose, can even throw a stone across, lolz, its juz connected to thailand by just a small bridge lolz, can even walk across and walk bak in like 5 mins...... surprised???? heard of the golden triangle??? hehez go figure wat's that, lolz....... (show you the photos to prove it another time, once the connection spds up)

3) The tour guides are also extremely fun to be with, i don't exactly know the reasons why i like crapping and talking and having fun with tour guides so much, learnt alot from them, for this trip i had 2 tour guides....both i can say are very very good....

4) Been successful in slashing prices by 50 to 80 % at the night markets unlike in china (very diffcult to slash their prices try also very hard), lolz, better than my parents who could only do 20- 40%, lolz, they started to pick it up frm me i think lolz, and the slashing began hahaz, really have to pei fu the thai people unlike the china people who most whould get angry i said most ahr...when i start cutting..., still won't get angry when singaporeans start slashing saw alot singaporeans slashing the prices along the way lolz, as u know whereever sing. people go they are well known price slashers lolz.....

and ...... dotz dotz dotz..... you people should go chiang mai, its a very nice place, where its affordable, and relaxing to be in, i have to comment on Tiger Airways, i have to say that their service was way above expectations liao, for a budget airline, i have to say its cool to be one of their planes...... but still did not like the free seating thing...... ok that's all i think if nt this would dragg on and on, post some exotic and beautiful photos i took next time...hehez.... i bet everyone would surely like it......

Day 7 SP CFP.....

I do not know what or who made me change to this song that Jay Chou is singing, as u people know i always don't like him, but i like his voice in the chorus of this song, how he controls it is like wow. Ok this would be the first time that i would blog about one of the CFP days in SP, what made it so special today, firstly, cause this is the first day that i find the programme is actually very fun, then secondly, it is finally here the School of Buisness, been looking forward to it ever since this programme started.

The day started of on and extremely tiring note, the night before the thai airways flight my family was on was delayed like about half and hour, so i just sat there at the airport from 2250 to about 12 am hence we reach home like chao late, and slept chao late, so today wake up chao tired lolz.... its not surprising that flights departing from bangkok international airport always gets delayed, it always does, if you look at the schedules for all the flights, i don't think one lands on time lah.... chao irritating....

But wadeva, since they r back i got what i wanted my THAI AIRWAYS PLANE YEAH!!! I am seriously into collecting these so people if you want to give me any gifts, a model airplane would be good, i would really appreciate it, any airline also can. I just find the purple colour of Thai Airways serious beautiful..... Ok back to topic.... So we stepped into the Vanda room (some room at SP) and we were like split into different groups according to part of business we like, so obvious choice for me Tourism and Hospiltality, the hospiltality part is mainly in the afternoon... In the morning we basically went for some talk and played some buisness game basically on accounting which all business students have to go through in their first year, this game is sth like monopoly except that we had to buy and sell diapers.... One thing that i learnt about myself from this game is that I seriously must watch out cause I juz like to take too much risk in business already, i was basically like spending alot of money to buy products and reselling them for a higher profit, lolz.... luckily we made profit...lolz from $10000 start up cost, we tripled to about $31000 over worth of money and assets lolz... cool right!!!!!

Then we went for lunch and set off for our industrial visit to a clubhouse on fort canning hill which deals with the hospitality industry, too bad sp couldn't get a hotel to host us, cause i really want to go to one lolz..... It was on this trip that i truly realised i think i'm really passionate about joinging this industry the tourism and hospitality industry, spoke to the lecturer who is in Tourisam and Resort Management on alot of things relating to tourism (surprisingly he was also a SJI boy) no wonder i felt comfortable talking to him....

At that place we got an overview of the hospitality industry and how it works and got a tour of their clubhouse, i think their clubhouse is definitely chao high class, napping room, high class spa, gym and many more....lolz....I got to ask their (cannot remember her position) manager of a department some questions when touring the premises and the best question I think i asked her is " What was the worst ever type of customer your ever had to managed?" i was seriously surprised at her reply, one of the worst type of customers she ever managed was one who does not want to pay a single cent to use the facilities in the clubhouse, i was like wth i couldn't believe that there were this type of unreasonable customers, but she still managed to handle them, wo zhen de shi hen pei fu ta men lor..... I could really see that she really liked her job, and is really passionate about it, best example for me to follow if i want to succeed in this industry....

Let me give you a summary of the hospitality industry according to information getting from the HR manager there, if you think hospitality and tourism is for you, you must really have the passsion to serve others as what i see and sense is that people in this industry is not really working just to earn money to fill their pockets but also to render a service and provide an unforgettable experience for each and every customer which enters their doors, this would not only allow the person himself to fill the sense of satisfaction but also the customer to have a sense of satisfaction, it really is sth which is all worth it.....

Finally, they offered us part-time positions working at their clubhouse while waiting for our O level results, i was like finally their is a job available for me to apply for that i like, finally can make my own money lolz, however it came too late, hahaz... they say they need at least 2 weeks to process the application be4 contacting us for interviews, and somemore have to go through training and by the time this is all over, school would have reopened (as u people know 1st jan is approaching) lolz... so although i could not bear to do it, i just did not apply lolz........

Time passes when u have fun, the time spent there today was really an enriching one and worth it, spcfp is really coming to an end in 3 days time, that's vry fun, juz when im starting to have some fun with the company of the people around lolz..... how i wish there was some device to make time stop at this moment or time to pass slower......

3) Best vacation: To Taiwan and Hong Kong in Dec 2005, made new frenz, places we visited were interesting, aiyah it was juz perfect vacation..... to have fun and relax....

1) time of the day: No specific time just the whole afternoon, the worst manz.... yah its warm, hot, sometimes humid, boring, not much tv prog. to watch aiyah just boring....lolz
2) day of the week: Don noe why, i juz hate Mondays...
3) food: Raw Stuff lolz.... and stuff which taste like medicine...lolz
4) memory: forget it....... i only have memorable ones...

1 Jan approaches....

I was looking through my st. michael's photos and past years school magazines and cannot help to think that 1st of Jan is approaching, 6 years of my childhood and my memories were all gotten from that name.... Although the things and people inside would not change, once the name changes the taste and feeling of stepping back into the campus again would be totally different....

When i hear people saying "i hate my school", "my school sucks", "my primary school experience sucks", i can't help but think what their school system is like, cause i have never been through a situation like that, its inevitable that u would encounter one or two very unfortunate problems or situations in primary schl but it shld not always dammage ur attiude towards your school.... ok... wad m i toking about....

My memories of my primary school include alot, rivalries, friendships, outings, study sessions, soccer, the teachers and especially pe lessons hahaz...omg.... indeed i have lost contact with most of them, didn't realise the importance and value of friendship and links back then but these memories are unforgettable... haiz..... I think that's all i have to say, i wanna find more photos of the sms logo over the nxt few weeks although i noe it's very hard.....

As you know the past few days, i went for poly experience programme which im still going for now, i just don't know what to blog about the prgramme, besides the details of the programme i don't think i have any feelings about the sp programme, and i don want to blog on all those tiny details which i think would bore myself and bore you, lolz..... wait till i finish the prgramme first k??? which i hope would not be that fast lolz..... i seriously hope to know more of the group this week and open up more, pray for me....

o..k... on saturday.... yah i went out to do some shopping and wanted to buy more clothes at bugis, was with roy and kevin (and kev was still wearing the same shirt and pants he wore the other day lolz) lolz.... in the end i only bought one shirt.. cause nth much nice there, except i saw this shirt which i like so much but when i heard the price.... ok forget it... lolz..... after that feeling bored we headed over to vivocity, been there like a few times already so nth much surprising besides the fact that roy was complaining that it was crowded most of the time until we stepped over the line into harbourfront did the crowd stop lolz..... and one more thing, kevin if u r reading this blog, my birthday is not 10 of dec lolz, i seriously cannot believe my acting was chao convincing lah lolz, wanted to laugh but manage to control lolz, juz wanted to see whether u would really buy the games or the aeroplanes for me or not...lolz.... hahaz.... YEAH i tricked another person lolz...... then we went to queensway for some more walking, hehez...... and that basically wraps up the day hahaz.....

I juz cannot help to think that my blog has been laying stagnant in the form of "visitor arrivals" for a while lolz...... but wth...... blogging these days is getting boring..... haiz...... The past few days have been polytechnic experience, quite fulfilling, boring and fun, seriously praying now that i can get accepted into nyjc, if not die.... (i still quite scared lolz...)

That's some of my TP experience, don't have much photos as these i ask from others one... deciding between poly and jc is super extremely difficult, poly life is seriously way to attractive already and adding on to that, i believe now that if u r willing to work hard and not slack, sure can enter university one....

Singapore Poly programme, honestly, i have to say seriously bores me most of the time, lolz....i hope it gets better as days goes by, as it indeed is getting better as compared to the very stupid and lame first day there, the first day totally sucks ok..... shall blog more about sp at a later date and time..... juz a short post today, so bye bye people, pray that I can enter NYJC for PAE nxt week..... AHHHHH.....

Temasek Poly experience...

Ok... people if u think poly is easy to get in and very "qing song" forget it manzz.... u can wait long long...if u like slacking so much... u shld go to jc instead..... Temasek Poly was way omg... chao fun lah.... new experiences, new information and seriously a new choice that i don't mind making despite the location which i seriously don't care now...... (i'm gonna drag someone for openhouse nxt year...) lolz..

All the activities i find very interesting and atmosphere was chao exciting.... but everyday i go there sianz sianz one, cause everyday must wake up so early, go there complain that i wanna sleep only lolz.... Activities include TP mass dance, dragon boating, visiting the schls, games and jam n hop.....

At least i found out one thing for everyone..... poly life although is fun and exciting...., it's not slack lor.... if u wanna slack u shld go jc and slack and at least can chiong last min work....lolz.... poly although can but quite hard lah.... TP atmosphere i like very much, much like SJI's very friendly, exciting and cheerful where everyone and anyone can hit it off very well...

The visits to the school's were quite informative i think... and thier facilites were like whoa.... lolz... but i still wanna enter Tourism and Hospitality and i will do it.... hahaz.... TP mass dance, their wonderful tradition was chao cool..... at least one memorable thing is learning how to dance the mass dance hahaz.... dragon boating for the first time and again what can i say it was very fun, boating in Bedok Reservoir, at least the water is quite clean and not salty....lolz... Jam N hop was some kind of clubbing thing except that it is just dancing and rocking all the way for 3 over hrs, i was lie what the hell, the people can stand there jumping and goin crazy for 3 over hrs and not getting tired....hahazzz..... but it was quite a refreshing experience jamming and hopping...lolz...

Finally to end off this post.... to all my friends out there if your L1R5 got over 20, dont't think u can get into poly that easily lor, with such a score, your L1R4 needed to enter poly ye bu hui hao dao na qu, so gd luck manzzzz...... i try to find some photos from others to put up here, cause i aslo want the photos hahaz.... i hope sp would be that fun also which i dont think would be, as wad our pack leader said......

2003-2006

Another spectacular period in my life, my secondary school years, new experiences, new friendships, alot of new things learnt and much memories and emotions to take away. Now I realised what is the true meaning in studying in one of the CBS schools, can't believe it how much effort the teachers put in for us was like simply.... extraordinary...... (did not seriously realise it until days before the exam)

You can call this my wrap up post and reflection on my experiences during sec school years..... I really had one hell of a time, in class, CCA or whatever.... A big thank you to all the people that I came across during these years.

My Lower Sec teachers: Still remember the times when the class was such a fun place to be in because of our fun-loving teachers, shouting out comments and answers as and when we like to the teachers and joking during lessons, one of the best experiences of a class ever.
Mdm Thor: She is one teacher i respect alot, she is the only teacher who knew me since day 1 i stepped into sji till today, her words of encouragement can easily push me on to achieve greater things and during grad. day, i was some how also moved about what she said " Zhang Da Le Hor... Yi Hou Yao Ji De Hui Lai Hor".. I could somehow sense the sadness in her, omg....Xie Xie Lao Shi...
Geography Lessons would also never be the same without Ms Wong, I just like to sit there and listen to her talk away on everything geography....lolz.... Thx ~~^^
ThankYou Mr Low... for providing me with the many many opportunities to improve, discover and learn more about myself...HA... I had fun doing Bizworld 2003, 2004, Service Learning, Shanghai Trip..... I don't ever think I would be able to forget them......
Mr Lim for believing in me to carry out my duties as a CPBS NCO, if not i would not think i would be able to carry them out that well.....
My Uppersec teachers: the ever easy-going and relaxed Mrs Tan Choy Ping, our Maths and Form tutors of Sec 3 and 4 Ms Ong and Mrs Tan E.H, who pushedand pushed us to get A1 for Maths yeah!!!!!Ms Lau for her hard work and effort even though the class has such a sucky attitude. and everyone else whom i forgotten to thank...
Not forgetting other instructors, The Little Entrepreneurs, Claudine, Kathleen, Grace, Karin, for their utmost effort into planning a spectacular and memorable programme for everyone and last but not least my OBS instructor yeah.....!!!!!

I have indeed realised time really flies past very quickly, from sec 1 till now, the past few months were busy with mugging and more mugging and farewells and graduation for sec4...... Graduation was fun and memorable, Sec4 farewell day was really an emotional one, i will remember it for the rest of my lives....... not forgetting the O's, hope i did well enough to garner a single digit score without deduction of points (obviously duhzzzz~~~~)

Finally, prelims are over, taking a break from studying and mugging for one day, and continue mugging for o's, seriously dtermined to do well whther it is jc or poly i still need to get at least 13 pts to enter my most desired course in Sing. Poly. For now, I am extemely scared, utterly scared, I feel utterly stupid, I should have grabbed all the marks that I could have grabbed for my papers and i made some stupid decisions on which questions I left blank and which i chiong for in e-maths and a-maths paper2... All I can say is the maths papers is like wish me all the best, today's a-maths paper was chao crap, and monday's e-maths is like surprisingly of a harder standard that previous years.... a least science and humans. is quite okay, BIOLOGY was so easy, if i cannot get A1 o-level confirm cannot do well one, omg i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the paper, but nevertheless there are also some stupid mistakes which i found out later on, which i regret not paying attention to.

Seriously, I was actually quite nervous for most of the papers when i was in the hall, this feeling of afraidness and nervousness often overcame me half way through the papers and i would then have the tendency to rush through everything, which i think would be utterly fatal, Bio Paper1, the maths papers..... i seriousy had to control that feeling which was indeed very hard to overcome in the middle of the big examination hall, seriously have to try to calm down during o's.....

Next event coming up would be graduation, who knows... it's indeed so fast, one moment I was part of 108/208 and four years later 435 and 2006 indeed passes very fast, it's nearing the end and everything that i work hard for in sji whether in my studies, cca or whatever would come to these moments, O's, graduation etc. At least im satisfied with what i got Distinction for SJI-SJAB and Lasallian Leadrship Award (Bronze), i did not want to receive one ceritifcate and award at the end of my journey only so i am happy i've got 2.

The endorsements in my LLTC journal, cool right, hahaz..... everytime i look through my past photos of these years i cannot help but to remembr and think back on the times, i've really been through alot....seriously, if you think im adventurous, alot of ideas, daring and fun to be with, it was not long bak that my attitude seriously suck, which everyone hates and like to keep to myself, seriously, wad seriously woke me up was the time in shanghai where my grp had a good talk with me, although i look like i thought nothing of it, looking bak i think i've disappointed them after that the trip was indeed memorable and fun....and the turning pt. indeed was lltc and obs in october 2005, even my frenz say that i had 180 degrees change in attitude, the way i conduct myself, one thing i learn from the days at lltc and obs was to treasure everything that u haveand enjoy it, treasure the memories, times and strive for the best, do not wait until u lost it then come and rgret everything.

Erm, wait why m i saying all these, anyways i've experienced, whether failure or success and been through alot, met alot of new people, made alot of new frenz over these past 4 years and accumulated alot of wonderful memories, sji really gives what it promises and i was still doubting it in sec1, stupid me....lolz.... as 30 september approaches it would be the first step to the rewards and hard work that i put in place these 4 years....^^^^

The Amazing Race and Survivor is back, the seasons are chao coolz.... surprises for the amaing race new teams which i chao like especially the girls Dustin and Kandice, Kellie and Jamie, chao got character, Tyler and James is also another gd candidate to win the race.... my ideal final 3 is these 3 teams... this is the 2nd time i feel that the 1st all female team can win the race... remembering kami and karli, season 5.... survivor cook islands too bad channel5 didn't bring it bak, but anyways there's always the internet, and i find the new season chao interestin and exile island is bak HAR!!!! channel5 can't stop fans like us frm watchin the season..
Looks like another fun and interestion seasons to watch...can't wait.....

I just cannot understand anything, why do youngsters today stirup something for nothing, i just cannot understand, why can't they settle for a simple resolution and must complicate matters. Now i can truly understand the meaning of how SJI guys are truly fine young gentlemen, it was just so complicated.

Anywayzzz... went back to SMS today (unsure why kevin lee had that last minute change of mind not to go back, lolz...), was expecting a simple visit to revisit my old memories which i did but it was not only impactful but also one of "another kind", all my teachers remembered me contrary to what others say of teachers forgetting me as many others have experienced, see the impact you can make in other people's lives even for teachers, surprisingly i am the only few who still have alot of teachers that i know still teaching, while the others have like only 1 or 2 left as others left school, Ms Chang(P1H), Mrs Cher(P2H), Ms Karen Tan(P4H), Mrs Collen Sheares(P5G), Mdm Ang(P6G), didn't get to see some, either they were not at their desk or left. Had very heart-warming conversations with all of them, memories.... how wonderful they are, remembering me as hardworking, helpful, responsible and a pleasure to teach, i was like chaozz flattered, somehow the motivation they gave me to strive for the best results in the upcoming prelims and O's was of another kind which i find really encouraging and told me to show them good results when i visit next year....^^

n Mdm Ang was still concerned about my maths, see wad a gd teacher represents, even if u left schl or 4 yrs already she is still motivating and pushing me on to work hard and achieve my best as what it was in primary 6, i finally realised after the conversation that all the expectations that results in stress for prelims and o's are all because the teachers have confidence in me...., how i wish i could return to the times.... n Mdm Gao, first question she would have asked "Ni O shui jun kao shi kao duo shao", still concerned about us..... she is one teacher who never ever i can tell you that forgets her student she remembers every single one of us still.....the teachers still care about us after all this years, they love, care and concern is like unreplaceable and i truly appreciate that, that's wat makes sms so special... (the impact that teachers make in their students' lives... unforgettable....haizzz...)

Then met up with some frenz in schl, it was raining chaozzz heavily so didnt wanna leave, until the drama occured, do not want to go into the details as I utterly find the other group childish, the whole group of us was helping to try to help my friend solve this conflict peacefully but they just refused...and u noe wat..... all these happened in the school compounds.... i just did not want to bother about it as i found it utterly stupid of how this conflict about my friend with this other group started.... forget about it, this visit bak to sms was truly memorable in all sorts of ways...

By the way I have another set of photos for AP, gotten from camillus, i think some photos are nicer but overall it was still not as "enriching" as my photos... Here are some of the nicer ones..

Prelims... the dreaded exams are finally here... mugging stresses and tires everyone out, seriously im like mugging chao hard now.......but dont noe which jc i wanna go to for the first 3 months, we'll see as it goes, but i do not wanna see a C in my report card this time.....Expectations..haizz...the dreaded wordd....lolz....after that graduation would come, all the memories that i collected and kept over the years, all the quotes and motivation words i received from all the people who had crossed my path... haizzz... time really flies...it really flies........ n my completed memory collage!!!! yeah i can finally complete it le...!!!! ^^^^^^^^ For now wish me luck... bak to mugging....

Finally, I have to say yes... i finally, blogged for after such a long time, i could take time out to blog...hehezz.... my record so far about 3 weeks...lolz.....n I think it would not improve over the weeks as the anxiety and stress builds up. AP 2006, what a very memorable day, another moment that I would never forget for the rest of my life, I had the privilege of marching as 2nd contingent commander and i am indeed very glad to do that, I think that my unrehearsed performance was way much better than I expected and I indeed ended my SJI-SJAB experience with a bang. A superb CPBS handing over at POP, I am sure Matt and Kev will continue the legacy of the CPBS department, then comes AP prize presentation, its the first time that i received such an important prize infront of the audience for my achievements in my CCA, and the role as 2nd contingent commander, all these certainly closes this chapter of my secondary school life perfectly and i seriously now need not leave any room for regrets.

Thanks everyone for supporting me throughout the AP, I was indeed quite nervous due to my unrehearsed performance at AP, I serioulsy only practised with Marcus only, lolz, I was scared I will screw up lolz, but in the end it was way much better then I expected

I will upload the photos once I go ask around for more different types of photos first, Brendan, Camillus etc. The photos that I have are very limited so be patient people, come back maybe next Monday to view the photos k ???^^^^

Just sharing this with you people, this what do I call it???? collage??? contains fond memories of my secondary school life whether school or not but it lacks one thing the St. John essence, omg, do i sound chim, hopefully on AP day, i can have a nice photo to complete this puzzle, whthere izzit with CPBS (hopefully it is), with Team Scorpio, Team Taurus, my Best NCO trophy or whatever it is..... I am going to put it up again when I am going to graduate from sji again, then it would be complete and maybe more pics can be added....!!!!!

This is probably gonna be my last post before I pass out on tuesday, omg, getting emo...lolz.... unless i squeeze out some ridiculous amount of time which i think i cannot afford to, to blog....lolz. I have to say it again, time flies, it really flies, AP is in about 2 days and i still cannot get over the fact that i am passing out...haizzzz... What should I say...hmmmm......

This experience have certainly been fulfilling and fruitful, I am now so glad i did not go and join some other crappy CCA in the past, if not I would not have been able to experince what I had experienced. In the past, the NCOs said that the friendship you make through St. John would certainly be stronger and much more treasured than the friends you make in class, I didn't believe him at that time as I had a very strong sense of belonging to my class 208. Its not until this time last year when i felt that time began to pass faster and started to treasure the times more, and one thing that I always set myself to from primary school years is to make an impact in the life's of others, no matter the other person is older or younger than me, you can rest assured whatever i say and do over the past is totally myself, wo de ming zi shi zhong jiao guan huai!!!!

Over the years, the first-aid skills learnt are certainly very precious to me from today onwards, I don't believe joining other CCA's can give you such fulfillment and skills to help others when in need. Its always nice when people say a word of Thanks after you administer treatment for them, it certainly spurs me on to help others more when in need and the sense of satisfaction of helping people is hardly felt in normal times.

Also, i somehow learnt how to deal with problematic colleagues in the future already, the past year certainly had been tiring and troublesome, meetings hmmm can I even classify them as meetings???? Anyways, my experience in Taurus is actually much memorable when we were cadets, the times when we had nothing to worry about and just have to go through what the NCOs planned for us, no stress, no quarrells and no nothing how nice, everything has since changed and haizzzz.....nth much to say....

The team, I think I can say we have made a impact in other people in may ways, good and bad. The outside certainly does not match our inside, problems after problems just pops up leaving evrything for us to solve, but neverthless I think we still pulled through, way much better then I expected it to be and I can certainly say, that comp was indeed memorable and fruitful...... At least i can say something at that moment when Nicholas replaced Hubert with me for comp, that I certainly did not make the wrong decision and choice, 5th man then 4th..... i've almost tried everything, commanding, timing, thrid man, fourth man, tried before.........

Squad Scorpio, I seriously don't know what to say to you people, but I can see that you people have certainly growm over the past year, from Sec2's to Sec3's.....lolz..... what should i say... all i can say is treasure your riegn and do your best for the unit, treasure your times as you would find that your term as NCOs is actually very very very short.

Team Scorpio, it certainly has been a pleasure training you people in the past year, I got to know your team way much much much better, now I understand the feeling of Roy when he always say I miss this and I miss that, and all those things about strong feelings, you people have certainly changed whether in your skills or your character, I certainly can feel it, also the effort and time that all of you dedicate towards comp. is omg, totally uncomparable to other teams, I have to say that, that's why it spurs me on to do the best I can for you people. Indeed, I have witnessed the very importance of teamwork and a well bonded group in whatever we do, never ever once have i ever seen a team or even a group so close and well-bonded before, seriously i am not joking. Training your team has certainly brought my St. John experience to another level, I hope to see you achieve the highest and the best of whatever you can achieve, I would certainly feel happy for you people, do a clean sweep at next year's zone comp okay???? All I have to say in the end is no matter what don't stress yourselves out so much and don't feel down when you lose, pick yourselves up and move on, as this is how i see it you people are already winners, I always say you win not because of the result you get but because of the EXPERIENCE and the MEMORIES that you would receive...... ^^ Wishing you people all the best, and if you need my help, i always available for you people ^^.......

Finally, the experience, memories and hard work that I cannot bear to leave behind, my department, CPBS, indeed my target working as a CPBS NCO have certainly changed from the start, from just wanting to get the Best NCO trophy, to really and wanting to help the unit in whatever ways whether is it CPBS or not till the feeling of the importance of the trophy have certainly disappeared. Basically, CPBS is a way for me to take a rest from the crazy squad going ons which always pisses me off and calm me down, at least I know I have something to do in SJI-SJAB while taking a breather from the crazzinesss of Taurus which i am totally tired of now (K don wan to get into that angry mood...calming down), at least I am happy that I got to share ths exp. with ZY (finally I brought myself to say that, JOKING!!!!), maybe the only thing he does well is to calm me down in those crazy times and make me refocus on my work, on second thought I may be correct, that may be the thing he only does well.....lolzzzz....wdv.... back to topic..... At least I received something fruitful and memorable out of my SJI-SJAB experience, I am glad and satisfied with my performance eventually, i did not let anybody down or disappoint anyone and most importantly I did not let myself down, its like a burden have just been lifted off me. To my successors, Matt and Kev, you have certainly proven that you are the best in you squad and i am utmost certain that you truly deserve my post, I fully and totally believe that you would put in your utmost effort into continuing the success of CPBS and maybe even lifting it to greater heights, just put in your best effort and never leave any room for regrets at the end of the day, remember never stress yourselves out too much as always take note the secret receipe for success: relax!!!!!!..........

Looking back into the past on why I joined and my interest in it, it had certainly changed, it has changed into something which is totally different from the past, thats why i wonder, i wonder what i am going to do when i passed out, its not as if there is some activity for tourism every holz u noe, haiz i am seriously going to miss life in SJI-SJAB, as I bring this post to a close, I have to say SJI-SJAB played a huge role in my life in secondary school, there were many ups and downs as I experienced it, many new people I met and come across, the close friends that i had made, many things that I learnt and discovered in myself, last but not least the memories, the memories that would last me a lifetime, no matter where i am headed in the future I will always remember this time, this time when I was a member of SJI-SJAB.......omg, i m surely going to shed some tears on AP day........ It draws nearer and nearer, the very day AP, i'll shall save all the reflections for now, don't want to get to emo. as i still want to study. Everything's been really depressing, prelim orals it was certainly a disaster to me, now i must work doubly hard to secure a good grade for english, why couldn't i just get one or two marks more to satisfy myself, haizzzzz... For now, i'm determined to mugg mugg and mugg and do it doubly hard after AP, and work towards my target, which is still unknown...lolz..... JC and Poly, hard choice hmm~~~~~

Lately, this whole best nco thing is coming back again, people starting to say and say that i stole someone's trophy again which i seriously can't stand anymore, although it doesn't show on my face, honestly the only word of congratz from my squadmates only came from surprisingly Shawn Chang, while all the others just erm hemmm yah, i think you get what I mean. Why do I somehow feel that they really mean what they are saying but wth, i think is should stop thinking about this.

Not knowing why, the latest hot conversation that we have is memories even all the way back to primary 1, I find it seriously, *some feeling which i don't know how to express.... wen xin, heart warming???? that we still get together to somehow talk about things that happen all the way back to primary 1, over the years many things have changed but our memories would always stay with us together, the caring teachers, the wonderful and havoc classess and the different type of personalities that we come across through the years...awwww.....

I've somehow decided like this is the only photo that i am going to put on my blog for the unit's barbeque, indeed it was a fun and memorable time spent. Ok, its approximately about 13 days to AP, I don't know what i'll do when i pass out lah, maybe find more opportunities to venture into tourism???? We shall see about that... Hence, I find it fit to reflect on my past experiences in SJAB for the next few post, seriously i cannot bear to see the clock ticking that fast, I wonder when was the last time that saying goodbye was that hard. I've already gotten use to my life as a member in SJI-SJAB, its very hard to change that and adapt to something that would be eventually be missing in the future.

Indeed, there has been many ups and downs during my time, but nevertheless the journey has been fun, fulfilling and enriching and it provides me with an esape from my hectic life in my class. Competition has been utterly fulfilling and enriching, CPBS memorable and impactful, Cadet life abit better then nco life, Skills learnt which would last a lifetime and most importantly friendship that would last forever.

I would still have my so called "memories" book to fill over the next 2 weeks for the part on SJAB, juz to share this book which i got from mediacorp was adapted and made into somesort of a book where i store all all the details of the most memorable and impactful memories of my life, i realise last year that I should not wait until i must say "shit why never keep anything or take any photos for memory sake", therefore i have been keeping and taking photos of all the significant events in upper sec. life, just snapping away...lolz... so far let me recall only about 6 people have signed in my book.

I cannot think of anything that I can blog about now, so when i do i do....hahaz..bb....

Time flies, it really flies it'll be AP in about 3 weeks and my long three and a half years of memebership to sji-sjab would soon come to an end, also everything that I have to do in SJI would come to ened in about 5 months time, this is one time that i really want time to slow down and take a break.

Alot of things have really happened, I don't know what is happening around after I was awarded the Best NCO award, don't know whther my squad seriously approves of it or are actually talking behind my back, i often get the occassional remarks of "A... best sec 4" and "u best sec 4 izzit" and much more which should not be put here you people shld know why.... This was not what i expected after i was awarded the award, all the attention and everything, I believe success is somehow not the destination but it is the journey (that's why you would not find me in school talking about how great i am to have won the award), this would all put more pressure on me to express and show everyone that I am the Best NCO....

I'm just glad that everything turned out find eventually, i did not disappoint anybody in my works in the past one year, whether it is comp. team stuff or CPBS i performed to the best of my ability and give everything ounce of effort i have to strive for the best cos that's one thing I believe in. I'm glad that I live up to predeccessor's expectations of me and i must thank him for all his efforts...^^ It is always better to see your juniors, the people whom you put the the utmost effort to groom achieve much more and outdo yourself, the sense of satisfaction is indeed much greater. I hope I can achieve this feeling too, which would indeed be much better then my win this year...

Reading Ronney's blog and his reflection on holding the drill cane :

well, this is my opinion, my thoughts. its literally heavy, the drill cane, this, to me, plays a vital role by reminding me, of my duty and responsiblity i have committed to by carrying it. as for its 'sacred' tradition, the drill cane deserves the utmost respect for me, having seen through all the hard work by other csm-s, it carrries the sweat and blood they've given to sji-sjabthat in my opinion, is the reason for traditions, they have its meaning, for you to reflect on

Honestly, although ronn is younger then me by a year, i already learnt alot of things from him and seriously he deserves much of my respect, Team and Squad Scorpio you people have a great person to lead you people through all the challenges ahead so treasure him.... It's the first time I see a csm reflecting so much on his position and I can see the huge amount of energy in him that is wanting to be expressed out to serve SJI-SJAB to his fullest, I believe he can do it and he would do it! Jia Youzzzz..... just don't stress yourself out to much..... Taking charge of scorpio for the past 1 year, I feel that they have a huge amount of potentital to excel in sji-sjab, although there are some who are less serious at times but they can be of great help to.

There is like so much things I want to say like to the people that belongs to my department, team scorpio, squad scorpio, my pre-decessors, so I'll try to find more time to express them out, cause you people would know I don't like to keep them in myself, let it all out, wdv....... hehez.....

Finally, reading Roy's blog and judging by the way how things are going on and if this feeling carries on, I know i would eventually break down on AP day, it's never good to say goodbye. I seriously am not a person who would break down easily and cry when it's goodbye time, unless something is really important and close to me (but if i would, i would try not to do it openly of course, after all these years I learn to always try to carry a smile on my face, no matter how i feel, that would leave a good impression of me on others....), seriously i think this would be my first time ever, considering the other time it happened is when i was in primary 2, lolz...

Another long absence from this blog, I just do not have time to just type these words into my computer considering the workload i have now, just next week alone i can look forward to 5 tests and I have and must pass all of them, if not what's coming my way more stress!!!!!!

The past week is not good at all, started of with one bad National Comp., it has been one week, though I have almost gotten over it, i still feel painful that we lost so badly and this is our last comp. some more, I've expected much better from us, some mistakes should not be made at all, I've seriously never lost so badly in any competition at all! What disappoints me more is the looks and attitude of my team members after the comp., i juz want to forget them as fast as i can.

Considering the bad start to the work, I almost screwed my O-level oral the nxt day, but managed to save it by just a bit i think, seriously there's nothing i can do about it now but just pray, yah just pray and more mock papers and work to add to my work load, haizzz people just watch how i handle my time..... *wondering*

I don't know what to blog about already... seriously, so now back to my studies....

Expectations.... it's seriously taking a toll on me, remember the day before i was talking to Mdm Thor, I could still remember her last sentence vividly, "Kao Ge Yi Hui Lai Ge Wo Kan, Wo Xiang Xin Ni Neng Zuo De Dao...", it still appears in my mind now and then. This are some of the many examples that i can name, i sometimes feel that if i end up not achieving any expectations that are made and placed on me and myself, i may just end up feeling disappointed, disappointed i did not work enough to achieve what i want, seriously, ahhhhh!!!!!

The past week have just been havoc, tons of homework, especially for maths which i totally suck at, the non-stop flow of mock papers wk by wk, the weekly tests which is driving me nuts, the tons of work that i want to complete for my department before i pass out, start studying for Prelims which i haven find the time to etc. I try to find time to fit in everything but i'll end up falling asleep thanks to lethargicness and have no time to complete everything.....

This week is nat. comp week, everyone's talking about it, maybe not everyone (it somehow seems quieter this year), hope that both teams can meet their goals and objectives, Team Scorpio- this is the last comp. that i would see them through as an NCO, training them for about year now, everything that they learnt would be put to the test on Sunday and I hope that they can pass it with flying colours and achieve what they ought to achieve, everytime i see them go on stage i would be like so happy for them, so jia youzzz Scorpio. Team Taurus- wdv, i dont know whther they would stumble onto this, but i actually have only one and only one hope for ourselves, end our comp journey with a bang, we started with one by sweeping everything at zone comp 2004, I hope that we would once again end with a bang at nat. comp. 2006.

AP's coming, we just had our first AP rehersal today, it made me imagine what it would be like on the day of AP itself, honestly i have mixed feelings about AP 2006, sometimes i feel very tired, very tired of being in squad taurus the craziness and everything is driving me nuts i just cannot adapt and just one AP to come quickly so i can end everything, but on the other hand, AP 2006 means having to leave my fav. and beloved dept. CPBS, when i first join it last year, i thought it would be another journey through, but on the other hand my love and interest for it grew and seriously now i am willing to do anything for the department to enable it to stand out in SJI-SJAB. This feeling somehow made me remember the question ronn posed to me "Why do you like going overseas to holiday and sightsee and learn new things so much?" my answer at that time was "to get rid of all worries and leave behind everything and to have fun, just to have fun", at that time i didn't realise i was actually like avoiding things until he alerted me to it, hence AP 2006 good thing?bad thing?... i seriously have no idea.....

Finally, i have to say this out, groan and moan about this, XIANGYANG MARKET IN SHANGHAI HAS CLOSED DOWN ON 1 JULY2006, i was like wth, how can the chinese government close down a market that allows tourists to have tons of fun bargaining and crapping with the shopkeepers, among the 2 times i went to Shanghai, visited it a total of 5 times during the 2 trips and indeed interesting things happen. I remember i got scolded for insisting that i pay only 10 yuan for a 90 yuan hat which the shopkeeper would not want to decrease further, seeing a russian woman i think quarreling with a male shopkeeper until want to fight like that seriously an interesting sight, had some great bargains, bought a 300 over yuan shoe for 90-100 yuan and 200 over yuan shirt for 80-90 yuan forget about the price liao (but now i feel abit ex. lolz), got cheated too during scavenger hunt with school group could have bought the Mao's watch for 20 yuan our group bought it about 50 yuan quite ex. you know, 10 bucks is not cheap and finally, seeing the power of bargaining for the frst time. To sum it all up, it was just FUN, FUN and MORE FUN, BARGAINING, now no more such fun in shanghai liao, if you want must go BEijing Xiu Shui Jie same as XiangYAng but don't know one day whether they would close it down. quite interested to know about all these, shall ask my shanghai dao you someday, *awaits*....

All right basically, have been really busy these past few days, doing all my homework now, and hopefully can revise some work before school reopens wanna do well u noe!!!! Also giving the last burst of energy for my department hahazz.... and by the way forgot to thank all those people who wished me happy bdae in my last post, so thanks ^^!!~~

Another thing, nat. comp, seriously i'm damn worried about it, seriously, i have some hesitation about giving my all for it cos judging by the way things are going on, i don't wanna go there just to screw up, i might as well focus all my energy on other things. Haizzz... what to do, they still need some waking up, hopefully a miracle happens soon...---~~~ (

Carrying on, came back from my KL trip over the weekend, basically not as sightseeingfull (some word i invented myself) as my other trips, juz shopping and more shopping, bought alot of stuff and one or two gifts, I actually counted, I spent the most on this trip among all my previous trips, in only just 4 days i couldn't even imagine that, but this trip also made me discover alot of things about Malaysia and its people, i will tell them slowly to you. I seriously, won't be accounting every single detail of this trip, as i don't think it would be as interesting as it was only shopping and more ~~~~~ (u guessed it! SHOPPING!!!!)...

First thing, Five Star is way too cool, they've got some of the best buses ever, i've sat 2 wonderful, beautiful and most comfortable coaches i've ever sat in my life, chao shiok lah, especially the one coming back, seriously equavalent to 1st-class on a bus, chao shuang leh.... OMG!!!

Another thing, I disovered, Malaysians are actually, not as polite as we thought, even thais and china's people ar much nicer and politer..... e.g.: In thailand, when buying things at a roadside stall/shop or anywhere, or even asking for directions, you talk to them in english they would try thier best to talk back in english and some may even be so gracious to introduce places to where you should go and visit, my trip last year to Bangkok taught me that, in malaysia however, you talk to them in english they talk back to you in malay, thinking you are a malaysian, i don blame them but when tell them can speak eng, cos don understand malay, they "ying ying" continue speaking malay aiyoh, "fan dao yao ming lo", or they may juz daozzz u (this i haven tried yet getting daoed by some shopkeeper, hello... I'm the customer u know!!!!....... dotz...

Another one better, in Malaysia, try your best never to take the trains, cos you would end up in a packed squabble with people pushing and shoving, e.g. at the KTM train station i experienced the worst experience due to transportation in a foreign country, when a train comes in everyone would just crowd to the door and when doors open, they would just push their way in, and people inside would push their way out, all these happens in the presence of a guard!!!! u noe..... and the worst thing is they all clogg up the entrances until no one can enter the train while the middle portion of carriage was so empty, waited for like 3 trains before I could get on one, it was like an hour and 15 mins, it was ugly!!!! Even then I had to push my way in, cos everyone was clogging up the entrance so i told myself "If they block you just push them away, shove them aside cos its their fault, they ugly u also ugly, hahaz", i pushed and shoved and caused a woman to trip hahaz, too bad clogg entrances.....

The ugliness, took this while i was pushing and shoving with them... hahazzz.... guess did i get on....???
(Ans: obviously not lah!!!!) In china, e.g. Beijing, they certainly had the courtesy to say "xie che ma" to everyone blocking their way in a way to say excuse me to allow people to make way for u while in a crowded train, and its from where the person is standing to the train door u noe!!!!! also even though the train would be quite pack already right they would try their best to squeeze out one empty spot for u, u noe!!!! how polite...!!!! I realised i focussed on this incident the most but wdv, this was the most "impactful"???? (I think iused the wrong word)

Thirdly, shopping!!!!! went to some cool places to shop, put up photos of the places i went to shop, some places can bargain until like siao, some places had really quite cheap and nice clothes to buy, all keeping in mind that i was in MALAYSIA not CHINA (too use to china already and the huge cut in prize, lolz)!!!!

Back from my my trip liaozz..... it was quite fun (I think), shopping only, but nevertheless I discovered some very ugly and interesting thing in Malaysians, shall blog about my trip after I completed my HW, dept work and all my other work lah, OK.... that's all.... hopefully by the end of this week..... Now back to watching TV.... "Xing Jing Er Ren Zu", by the way , i cannot even find a suitable and nice blogskin that i like so i shall continue hunting for one so patience people, wanna make one but don even know where, how and what to start with, so forget about it...lolz.... maybe i shall figure that out another time...hehez... now.... back to TV bye bye ^^!!!!!

Guan Huai Fang Shi... It's my birthday today... quite memorable.... muz thank all those who wished me happy bd today....."zhen xin cheng yi" jiu hao, i don demand anything from them but whateva.. the day began as usual comp. training and the usual complaints on the piles and heaps of homework!!!! At the end of the day, went out with my parents and ate at this restauratn with chao nice food, still thinking of the food now, exactly ate about 1 plate of fried rice, 1 plate of vietnamese kway teow, 1/2 a bowl of wanton and finally a little bit of viet. style laksa.... its really chao good, trust me hahaz.... after that, wanted to buy the garuda plane, but it seemed fake so didn't buy, but spotted a Varig plane(i'm sure u don noe wat airline is this hahaz, go find out yourself then) which was way cool and looked way too real, omg, can't wait to go buy it maybe nxt wed. after bio lesson....

Haiyahz.... i think that this post is totally boring, but wth, i cannot think of any better words used to described my day, one of the better birthdays i ever had.... and hope that all my dreams and aspirations would come true and be fulfilled in time to come!!!!

Another long break i have taken i guess, change back the song to Guan Huai Fang Shi juz for this period cos 14/06 coming liao, my day what so muz play my fav. song one which reflects me....lolzzz, not much of major events that had passed besides O's and june camp.... O level's was actually quite norm, seriously, what I can recall now are nervousness that i felt back then, if someone asks me to grade my performance, i juz didn't want to think bout it cos its over and honestly im quite nervous and scared that cannot get what i want actually want after the brutal mid-year "typhoon"(is what i would call it).

Then comes the hectic week the preparations for June Camp, starting from TAR that I was certainly in-charge of, I certainly found one day to solely prepare for it and soak in the sights and sounds of places and attractions and scenery that i never predicted existed in Singapore, predicted correctly that it would certainly feel boring alone so i called Joel, Marcus and Kevin Chan down, wdv you cadets experienced on race day we also experienced and i also decided to change the way t is played and the areas that it is located, almost all stations includes either brains, brawns or teamwork, and heard some funny things happened during the race slowly one by one. Goin back to topic, on preparation day, imagine walking from chinatown to marina park area and back to marina square and suntec to city hall mrt and we didn't complain leg pain, cadets walk little bi tired liao wah liao what is this, take bus and evrything, the group that won, i knew they walked most of the way so they won, it is designed in a way that the teams that walked and put in effort will certainly have bigger advantage, now for some photos:

K, to June Camp proper, basically, it was a very well planned out camp, but some of the activities i think were not well carried out enough, but anyways carrying on, first day was one boring day, it was just training and more training and the start to disaster was the movie at night WTH such sucky movie "A Series of Unfortunate Events", so boring, it was somehow the start to a very disastrous 2nd day, I was somehow like not feeling well the second day, even in the morning when the sun was out i was still feeling cold, and it is very cold in fact, touch my forehead a little bit warm, but don wan to think bout it cos wanna stay for the 3rd day to see the fruits of my labour, anyways i was like practically tired and not feeling that well the whole day but still taught 1st-aid anyways, quite uncomfortable feeling actually when you're abit sick.... then slept through the hour when scorpio was doing their 1st-aid test...... felt abit better during NCo hunt cos stand under the sun for quite some time, but after that bak to original, so slept again for quite some time until dinner, then felt not ok, seriously, that was the day i felt like omg, cannot take it liao lor, ye xue dao le yi ge dao li "zhi yao ni jian chi xia qu ni yi ding neng ke fu zhong zhong kun nan".

3rd day race day, had to make several last minute changes to things before starting of race, heard alot of funny things happened, for e.g. Arjun's group going to the wrong side of the bridge before they found out "aaa... wrong side of the bridge... hahaz", WeiJie's group then also stood for quite sometime in the rain at orchard tryin to find Damien who obviously went under shelter to "bi yu" right then they still stand there...... that's all i could remember bout the thing i think besides being stuck under esplanade bridge because of the DREADED rain....!!!!

Last day basically, nothing much, just hope my decision that i make is a correct one on the last day and not a failure, I can only juz wait and see what happens, only time would tell......

Now, to the present, hw and more hw, and dept. work to do...... chaozzz loads..... of things to do, nvm i shall take one step at a time "man man lai" surely can finish one nothing is immpossible....

Reading Matt's blog about his Shanghai trip, I couldn't have imagined how adding a day into the whole programme makes it much more interesting, noticed how different claudine and kathleen planned this and ours, that time when i ask them, they don't wanna say somemore hahaz..... anyways, i like their business idea on image consultancy, very original and creative, not a very established market in China (I think) can be expanded somemore and be created into something big don't know why you all never win maybe because of the lack of the element of their tradition inside, interested to hear the winning idea, see whether can beat my group's one or not, Xiao Ye Zi Spa and Sauna.....Lolz......haiz.... see lah... now i wanna go back to shanghai.....aiyoh.....

K.... carrying on this holz my holiday plans quite simple, juz a 4 day trip to KL, but seriously i should not underestimate or look down on it, there are seriously "hidden treasures" that are yet to be explored by me yet... now actually looking forward to exploring the few places that i have researched upon, let me whet all of your apetittes, the is this place arould KL right which have a resort, it's desgin is totally based on cities from countries outside of malaysia, for e.g there is a japanese village with japanes infrastructure, gardens, spas inside, and one very big french town whose design bases on the Colmar Village in Alsace, France. as i look into the pics, its way too coolz!!!!! OMG!!!!!

Hehez... back again to blog bout my boring life...lolz.... o-levels 8 days in counting, seriously mugging very hard now hoping to get distinction for Chinese, cannot have a repeat of Mid-Year screw up my "Li Jie Ce Yan" crappy crap crap.....

Met Claudine, Kathleen and Grace last Friday, three of them sitting in the canteen eating hahaz, joking about how sianzzz i am with the school food to them and gave them some of my feedback for the trips and about us being the "alumni" group who went on the trips....hahaz... caught up with times with them, Grace not going Shanghai again.... she also never go Beijing, but she sounds and looks busy with all her work so no choice, but seriously miss the times back then hahaz.... i would never forget the time when we sat in the Hard Rock Cafe in Beijing and i whipped out my Mediacorp "scrapbk" and ask for autographs hahaz.... what they wrote and drew was not only fun but encouraging also lolz.....

Wadever lets move on, yesterday had Sports Fiesta PD, crappy afternoon so boring, apart from semone who either fractured or sprained his ankle which i serioulsy suspect it was a fracture, the whole day was quite boring and sianz lor... then went for dinner at Toa Payoh with some of the people then went to meet my parents boring right?????? But seriously one thing that caught my eye was an advertisment at Yio Chu Kang MRT station what about "The Ultimate Singapore Travel Race" organised my SMRT, very interesting suddenly it flipped opened the crazy side of me again, thinking of participating cos got one student category, family category and another open category, shld be quite fun... hahaz... but if wanna join, first hurdle that i muz cross form a team of at least 3-6 people for the race, deadline is still a month away so that's for after O-level's to consider......... for now for o-level muz mug, mugg and muggg..... Hua Yu Cooooolllll........ hahaz....

Haizzzz..... Wad's happening, but first I must exclaim "ARAS WON!!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"... let's not talk about today... quite boring, the intensive mother tongue training have started and i'm seriously going to "ping wo de ming qu kao yi ge A1 hui lai" no dissappointments this time i hope and really i am beginning to realise what a world this is.....

The changing of the name of St. Michael's School to "St. Joseph Institution Jr." i seriously disapprove but do not oppose, but what i heard Brother Mike talking on friday is somewhat like "How to survive in the Education Business...." I was somewhat like pretty much convinced or satisfied??? that the name change is good for the school in order for the school to survive but whatever I think I'm going down to school to listen to the forum this Sat. for fun with some classamtes i hope, catch up with old times???? if they still can remember my most memorable and fav class ever lah, P6G, I am very sure we had one of the best batch of P6 or even teachers you can ever get, they really "pin lao" ming to help you, i still can remember how much help i received for Maths from my teacher, that's the beauty of a lasallian education " a once in a lifetime experience ", memories and more memories of my childhood years back there, although you can say once I grow up i may forget bout the school but who cares the future is the future, i care about now first....

Seriously I don noe what to blog now, but know that i got alot of things to do, plan, hold, organise... basically, lottsa work "jiu shi" lah..... k my mind cannot think of anything now.... bye bye!!!

Reality Bites!!!!

I think my blog is like officially dead liao, due to my long absence due to a hell lotta things i think that the numbers on the counter had stopped jumping up and everythings so stale now. Seriously, lottsa things had been going on and had past or is about to happen, things that would affect your past, memories, present and maybe your future, seriously, i shall try to elaborate on them another time maybe tom.(hopefully i have time), but today i want to give my bite on the 2 reality tv finales this week, as usual for every season i'll do the same... Let's start with survivor, my desired winner would definitely be Aras but let's look at each person in detail:

Aras: Strongly speculated to be in the final 2 and really hope he would win. Won over many on the jury and besides besides Cirie, the jury practically hates Danielle and Terry for either backstabbing them or not on the once "Casaya" tribe, so hopefully Aras goes on winning till the end.... let's see on monday....

Cirie: Aras best fren, how i wish she could have got into the final to face Aras then it would be really one hell of an episode to watch and a one not to be missed, however, speculations state that she would lose the fire challenge to danielle and be eliminated next how sad.....

Terry/Danielle: The last spot in the final 2 could go to either one of them even the spoilers are spoilt for this decision, they can't even decide, some say this the others say that, but whoever gets into the final2, hopefully not terry, aras will still win, why???? cause i predicted it, lolz.....

So who would outwit, outlast and outplay the rest after 39 days to be the SOLE SURVIVOR, catch the finale on MON!!!!!!! By the way Survivor 13 would be in Cook Islands, knew that this country would definitely be picked for any one season, not a surprising finding.....

Carrying on to the long awaited finale of The Amazxing Race 9, final 2 legs would definitely take them to Tokyo as seen from the city views and the bright lights, and maybe either Alaska or Canasa seen from the snowy lands, but whichever way my prediction for this???? ERIC AND JEREMY!!!!!!!!! they would win THE AMAZING RACE!!!!!!

Eric and Jeremy: Definitely my favourites, and everybody's favourites, didn't show much trouble that they ran into through the trailers, instead they look quite successful in the final stretch, hopefully, my predictions for the race for the past 4 seasons have been like the team only finish 2nd, but hope this time they finish 1st!!!!! yea!!!!

Ray and Yolanda: Inconsistent performances, seriously don't see them being successful unless this is one of the underdog seasons again like season 5-7, but unless lady luck is on thei side, i dont see them surpassing eric and jeremy, but i would give a nod for BJ and Tyler finishng in second place. The dark horse to claim the million dollar prize.....

BJ and Tyler: Aiyoh.... i predict them finishing last this time, troubles and more troubles for them judging from the trailers, saw them missing a vital flight at on of the Japanese airports should be sth very vital even a delay of 5 mins could cause the team the entire race... ao i don see them beating th 1st 2 teams.....srry....

So after traveling to five continents, 10 countries and covering more than 59,000 thousand miles, be there at the finishing line to see who has the brain, brawn and teamwork to win THE AMAZING RACE!!!!!! Catch the finale on Thursday!!!!!

I know I haven't blogged for a long time but seriously got no time, if not i would not be blogging at this time... so many things have like happened and exams are 2 days away and the one thing that i since realised was that the root cause and problems of stress and pressure of all exams comes from EXPECTATIONS... OMG, i can't believe what magic this word can do to me after hearing what me and my teachers say (shall not name who n sum more hear frm them personally one leh)... i definitely don wanna dissappoint myself and do my best and also i don wan to dissappoint everyone around.

I am seriously scared that one of the days i wake up and forget all the things i studied already, nervousness have started setting in which causes me to go crazy and forget everything... maybe exaggerate abit but.... after exams i've stil got numerous things that i wish to fulfill or do before wdv deadline, i shall not say anything here but seriously am mugging damn hard now..... seriously i am chao scared now even, hopefully exams can pass by quickly....

Its seriously getting tense.... and my class is seriously getting bu yao lian, juz yesterday they were scrambling a bunch of notes for piles of maths notes that was supposed to be given out, but what to do, in my class i reckon it is survival of the fittest, if you suck then u can go and die.... once again shiet them, hate them and hope they lose all the finals for sports day....

MYE is like in 2 wks time, MT o-level 1 month, lotsa CPBS work to do and still need to settle some of my overseas stuff that i just accumulated into one pile and chug into one side after the december holz... let's see, there's Itineraries of diff. trips, receipts of payment for trips, namecards, boarding passes, souveniers, maps and etc...... dotz manzz wonder where i'll find time to do all these work considering all the mugging i've been doing.... even typing this entry "wo yi jing gan dao hen xin tong liao" wasting time while i can be studyin, but today chao tried lah.... no mood to study after training...

Training today, normal.. just that i don noe why the scouts so sick one, even our cadets not that sick lah, teach them bandage tying don't know what their young kiddy brains are thinking of lah lolz..... but anyway was quite fun teaching them lah.....shld not elaborate somemore on training but i hope the sec3's would have a good parade that they would be organising nxt wk, i think i will be mugging "chao hard" then....

I've so seriously been considering my options for the future and i seriously for now, find Poly more attractive, I rather go and study sth that i enjoy, like and is interested in for three years, then doing only 1 sub. that i like in JC among don noe how many i can take divided by 2 years, imagine how little time i would have for my fav!!!!! Crapppp.... but who knows things may change, but still one step at a time o's first which i will definitely be giving my extra 110%..... Wish me luck!!!!^^

Last Friday, i asked my friend whther i was that unsocialble in class, he said "yes, vry quiet", then i was like thinking coolz, who cares about the class i was indeed very satisfied with his answer and another question then followed, how about outside of class, he replied "ok, quite kai lang" again double hit, i was so glad he gave both of these answers and praying that he really spoke what he felt instead of juz saying it for the sake of saying it.

Indeed, again many things happened during the past week, my "hatred" for 435 indeed increased, I remembered Lim asked me this question "On a rating of 1-10" how do you rate the learning environment in class, i said 2, he was like really???? then i told him about how they hate the teachers and how stupid and idiotic they were and their bounty of tuition, and i think he went to tell the other teachers cos the nxt day when tan choy ping entered class she somehow like said everything that i told lim to the class..... hahaz one point to me, and the class try to rebut that they don have, but they are the only ones who would only know....

Moving on, really caught up with times in 108/208 this week, first time hard a real talk with Mdm Thor at the bus stop, she was telling me how much she missed 108 *coolz* me too, although we were abit too crazy she loved our class most, she could even recall all the fun things that happened like people chasing and pestering her for just 1/2 mark (tell me whichever teachers remember all these stuff), she told me although she thought more "guai" class, our's was still best cos got the atmosphere and "hen teng wo men" awwww..., and really she helped me to boost up my confidence to go through all the challenges i would be facing this year like the chinese O's (i still wished she was my teacher, awww....). And i was like zhen de ma??? to her nxt sentence saying that "ta hen teng wo men you qi shi wo he kai xiang" not forgetting to act cute abit, lolz..... This really proves that 1st impression count with and on teachers, honestly......

Thoughts have been goin through my head still, whether to go poly for tourism or JC for geog., i don noe, it really depends on the path to university that i would be considering and i found out NUS have courses specialising in Geog. !!! suprising, but it is on the whole of geog. one, not on one particular one only like tourism, see still must make decision still haizzz..... i guess i gonna ask advice for ms wong again, really i look up to her advices always they always benefits me, the last time she advised me not to take up full geog. outside myself cos firstly, u cannot take it with elect. geog. pp, and secondly my other sub. are not good and i was glad she gave me that advise if not i would be like wth now...... Again the song in the background, "Meng Zai Shou Li" keeps me reminded that zi ji de meng xiang di que zhang wo zai zi ji de shou li, er ji zi ru guo yao cheng gong que bu neng fang qi bu guan na duan lu you duo me de nan zou, listen to the lyrics and you would really hear the true meaning behind, really a very meaningful song....^^

Again, i seriously feel that 2006 would gonna be one shitty year, i already don like the start, wished i had a time machine to turn bak time to sec 3, 2005 was more fun and enjoyable, as MYE approaches 3 wks in counting, i'm seriously gonna mugg until chao hard especially for combined humans. cannot let myself or my teachers down again......haizzz, i want at least an A1 for humans....

K, training last thursday was sort of say another normal day of training except that scouts came and taught the cadets campcraft, wdv, i find it sorta boring by the way..... dotz...... the syf thinggy on friday frm what i saw was sorta like a bunch of leaders leading a whole massive group of sec1 and 2s who are shouting and screaming at the top of thier voices, leaving the hall was worse i saw STAMPED!!! they were like trying to push each other out of the hall while debroah goh was opening the other side of the door!!!! I'm sure i saw one or two people who tripped and fell......kids are kids anyways hahaz.....

School Reopens....

The past week have been like..., seriously, alot of things that have already went through my mind, some things that can be expressed here and some have not appropriate to do so here. Seriously, looking back at how 2005 have been a seriously fun year it had been, i've got a feeling 2006 won't be that fun, seriously i really hope that I don't break down because of too much stress as scenes of what happened the last time when i was in primary 4 flashed back through my minds (you know the stress of streaming was driving me crazy).

Basically, school reopened last week and i was still rushing to finish my school work, although honestly till now a week later i'm still left with english and i still don feel the rush to complete it. teacher never say anything about it what but maybe i still would do later... duh---- Seriously I'm getting fed up with 435 already, everyday i step into the class i would surely be like "chou chou lian" one cos i seriously think *daoing them would seriously make my day better, everyday would surely get irritated at sth one, haizz can't stand them anymore, have been seriously patient since sec3 liao, everyday i have to really listen to stef sun songs to 'jie ya" (honestly, stef sun songs works wonders on me, e.g. YU JIAN, after listening i always have a 180 degrees change in emotions and feelings one, KAI SHI DONG LE, THE MOMENT....)....

Carrying on PD on sat, 25 March, honestly i feel that it was quite fun, actually brief synopsis of PD, reach there, walk to station in 5 mins, watch the sea and aeroplanes flying past and above (seriously cool sight), then 10 mins runners come and ran past, then it was over in few seconds and the rest of the time spent walking to the finishing line. Seriously, i felt that the walk was especially fun for me and matthew were taking photos of planes that fly overhead everytime a plane past, seriously on the day i saw like Indian, Qantas, Malaysia, Garuda, SQ planes flying overhead and chao close to you lah, cool manz... although i seriously can't find any reason for us getting lost in east coast except for our blurness. Here's one photo i got which i consider nice.....

Nice right, but i still feel the indian airlines sight was nicer, the angle was like just perfect..... K after that, i was like standing with team scorpio to decide where to go cos Joel decided to "pao qi wo"... K seriously we stood there for 15 mins and a whole lot of ideas came through our minds, changi airport-expo-lavender-bugis-suntec-marinasquare-harbourfront-novena in the end deciding on plaza sing. lolz..... and this was like decided when we reached city hall, so the whole journey we were like heading nowhere....dotz.... anyways saw some cds there, bought the yanzi live in HK with Ronn and Matt (ermm if they still remember), it is seriously chao nice lah, everyone sure must watch it if not they would be losing sth great, had lunch roam around some more then went home.....

I know many people are changing their skins, but i still like my skin with the "guan huai fang shi" song in the background so expect it to stay, lolz.... k bye people... that's all for today, need to do work now, will blog when i have more time ^^ (remember to always end with a smile)

Tons and tons of hw still left and chao difficult one lah.... took like one whole day to do one A.Maths paper, forgotten most of my sec3 work (maybe besides Geog.) that I must slowly take the time to revise and do, I hope I can really buck up to prepare myself for mid-year, cannot disappoint myself again.

Honestly, yesterday was the treat that the comp. teams had with Mr Lim and Mrs Ng, i juz have to comment its funny how Mrs Ng pronounced my name... OMG, chao nan ting... nxt time juz ask her call me Guan Huai better......but anyways as always I've always have a great time when i'm with the comp. teams, *really*.

Reading Ronn's blog, i've see what a close team scorpio(get sick also get sick together *coolz*) is honestly reminds me of my Bizworld Team (Tim&Co.), imagine what splitting up can do to you, I can really say that was really the first time i've do not feel hatred for someone i hated, someone whom i could really rely on, someone who would always start the fun when the group felt down and etc. all encaved in one group, but one thing that i've regretted was not to "bao chi" the times even though we splitted up into diff. classes, now is like when we talk, is like long lost frenz talkin to each other and can never return to the times again *sads*... honestly taurus or even team taurus couln't even bring that to me....

Unforgettable.... coolz..... would offer me one of my bestest memories in sji.....

Journeys is the name of this post, Bizworld, SJAB comp., OBS, all really wonderful memories, Bizworld had ended, but i'm glad i know my journey in SJAB comp. hasn't ended, i still want to savour the times spent in my team and really experience the times again *awwww*, and OBS although the course sort of ended like months ago, but the activities had not ended.... our instructor would be sending us our letters of reflection throughout our couse in about a month time and i can't wait to receive them, the aims and objectives of this is to make sure we really learn something out of the course, at least i'm glad it still hasn't ended....

Coolz manz... now i'm really proud of myself, i juz written my most reflective ever *clapzz for myself*, at least i still know that although how sad i may feel, i've always end of with a smile^^. tata... back to hw, will blog more when i've have time, i still have papers to do.... ^^

March Camp 2006

March Camp 2006, i consider it a success since the cadets enjoyed it alot, although I still think alot can be improved so that we can plan a better June Camp... Shall not put too many pictures on here cos i'm gonna make a cd of all the photos i took and.... if you want it, easy ask lah, lolz.....

To start off, I shall give a summary of the camp, basically I think that I got to know Scorpio better, found out some of their problems and good points that they have, they should really work hard to correct it if they would really wanna become a squad to be remembered.... also i'm seriously disappointed in the way the NCOs behaved at the camp...wdv... shall not elaborate.....
Overall, i really identified who could become my successor/s, and was like WAD to some of NZY actions and answers, I also suddenly don noe why fell in love with Kelly Clarkson's song during the camp and also starting to love photography to capture all my memories.....

Basically, day 1 was abit boring for me lah huh..... it was more of like a training style, 1st-aid and footdrills, first-aid was like... hmmmm interesting, teaching them how to make cases... honestly i find all of them quite capable in setting and carrying out their cases just that Juo Wi has to spoil it by crapping around setting his ridiculous case of 10 over ailments, i was like wdv.... and seriously didn't even know the S&S for the cases he set wdv.... lunch was crappy cos the food sux... which shows us and indication of worse food to come wdv..... then came the leadership talk on problems faced by NCOs, most of them are very true, i was like snapping photos only, the funniest one being peng soo dropping the money... footdrills came and i fell even more bored ( becoming NCOs is very sianz u know...) start taking photos again to past my time....dinner then came... and movie.... national treasure.... i fell asleep half way through the movie, as I watched i fell more bored, the LT was also damn bloody cold lah, was like shivering...... M.E.D. then came at midnight.... was not involved in the planning cos i was like busy planning for the next day's stuff, i spent a whole long time making the powerpoint for the posts... that i stop halfway to take some photos for M.E.D., participated in the debrief and was chao dissappointed that Scorpio did not really apply what i thought them in the morning Primary and Secondary survey, but seriously Marcus ask me to scold them but I didn't fancy that choice cos scolding people is just not my thing i seriously don believe in scolding, but i really had no choice then so.... after that continued to carry on the powerpoint for the posts (sth where the others besides Marcus were having reluctance to do) until like very late at night larhzzz... i was like chao tired and hungry, then also had meeting in the middle of the night... yawnzzzz.....

Anyway second day was another day, surprised i was one of the first ones to wake up considering how late i did the powerpoint till while the others were still..... i still had to wake the people bringing scorpio to morning run cos i was not involved again while the others were still sleeping so i decided to bring the laptop to another class to continue.... Marcus soon joined me later after he woke up and started making powerpoints for course of the day hahaz.. juz me and marcus...dotz.... the LT was once again seriously bloody cold sitting in it through the leadership talks, also through my post talk I seriously was like wth were the NCOs doing, fooling around in front of the room while another person was talking or was not thier turn, omg chao byl lah, i was like chao pissed, when it was my turn right, i seriously was so cold until i was shivering, and really disorientated in my words hahaz... but still managed to pull through lunch was shit again... then came games, honestly, the games were really planned well but Kevin Chan juz had to screw them up by changing all plans to some games which were childish and immature until i couldn't understand them, the only game that wasn't changed was my "STIX" game, i think it really benefitted the cadets, seriously i was like so happy Kevin Chan did not come and "Kar Chiao" this time ZX and frenz decided to pop out of nowhere, frightened me abit...lolzz.....seriously, didn't even bother going for other games cos i felt they were really crap, BOMB shouldn't have been played out in the way where u just throw the bombs at each other, wth do you learn out of that (really wonder what Kevin Chan said), it instead be some game of blind dodgeball, where there are 2 teams and 2 commanders standing oneach side of the playin field while all the other members are blindfolded, the commanders would then have to direct their teamates to throw the bombs at the opposing commander who cannot move from his spot, the first commander who gets hit loses.... this game was to show them what happens when everyone talks together and shouts at each other, and the consequences it would result in, so i've decided to hide in the canteen, until Kevin Chan decided to say that i did not get hit, i was like so pissed I went up to the LT, actually the game was like me and Marcus idea again, juz that kC had to screw it up, LOCKS was never shld have been like that juz that unexpected things happen like the stupid cleaners denying us the us of the Sec1 block.... WAR was the worst immature, crazy, useless etc. honestly.... shower came and dinner then came... secret message was then in between and as expected i see Juo Wi fooling around again durin the session on secret message, so i decided to take some stupid photos of him lolz.....

Seriously, i was like chao touched reading the messages that scorpio wrote to me, although i only wrote back 4 affirmations to the potential CPBS people lolz... i seriously want to tahnk scorpio for allowing me to learn how to deal with a bunch of teenagers lolz and develop my skills in teaching( honestly i learn everything from Wong Wah Lee, I seriously like her style of teaching so much that I copied it, lolz) and also made me develop more as a person, in ways of my patience and self-confidence in dealing with others..*beams*^^.... cos I experienced dealing with kids before and they were crazy.... interview was like duh..... i was like only waiting for the people I want, constantly emphasizing CPBS dept. not only develop u to be a good NCO, but develop you personally... and much more which i don wanna say here.... was also disapointed in ZY answers for supposedly Matthew's questions..... some shit he said, made me realised what he said last year to Roy was just to land him a post so he can be proud of it...*seriously*......

Again, I worked late into the night doing the mega summary photos, which YS left halfway through to do M.E.D., thought he would come bak after M.E.D. to continue, but NO, he went to SLEEP... I was like MR WTH... so i just continued doin it until late into the night larhzzz... again with Marcus...hahaz.. also if you people were wondering where was i doin M.E.D., i was in the L.T. doing the photos, if you bothered to look up frm the parade square...lolzz... heard it was very good, and Matt. was the CO, shld have go watched it.... wasted lolzzz....

Last Day like ok...... P.T. , footdrills. Before their footdrills, we were like in the LT, taking comp. photos and was like feeling ZY so extra... never bring medal also can take photo lolz.....wdv.Then some cock up at when the mega summary was about to begin seriously made me really anxious in sloving the problem, apparently some photos in the show turned into X's... heard that Scorpio spoilt a water cooler where it fell frm it spot.. seriously i don't believe it when i heard it.... and what Matt. said on his blog was like so true hahaz... (that he knows they won't be in trouble but Marcus would certainly be screwed)..... Mega-Summary came and it was a success, i wa like so proud of the photos i took hahaz.... so nsns^^....lolzzz.. a wonderfull ending seriously, maybe it was due to the fact that some people were not ther lolz...

To sum it all up, i major problem i see in scorpio is that the line between comp. team and non comp. team was like chao obvious, every lecture and talk they were like always together and also during interview also split into groups also the same... Matt. and JW.... WJ and Alwyn... dotzz.. this scene is very common... I feel that this prob. shld be addressed first lor.... besides that i don feel ther's any other major problem liao lolz..... shall express more if there's a need to, other than that, nitez i feel sleepy...

Sorry for the late update on the comp. , went to change my phone on sunday, wah liao is like chao ex. lah, next time cannot be so careless again, and also got March Camp (shall split the posts on comp and march camp...)

This year's competition would definitely be one of my most memorable eva.... the most memorable one was still our AC comp 2004, that is definitely unforgettable where we swept everything....

We got overall champions!!!!! Best in Footdrills, TOC, Fist-Aid Long and Short Case, among all I think we did the best in footdrills shall elaborate below..... and also if you are wondering why there is one plaque short and one medal short, it is that NZY fault, he never bring his he always like that one lah.... sometimes he made me think whether the comp. team with Liqian inside is better...... dotz.... but anyways nth to be surprised to be about if we won, if we never we would be chao lao kui lah....

Lets go into the comp details now, for our TOC, i think that simon quek saw how scoripio performed until chao good that's why his comments were not very positive, that really set us back as alot you know, we definitely performed quite well in manouvering the stretcher up and down stairs transporting casualty up and down stretcher and everything just that some basics steps were abit screw up like opening and closing of stretcher lah, and the commanding was also abit screw up, but the manouvering was definitely very smooth really flawless, can see and tell from all the sirs around..... hahaz... it's just back to basics hahaz... but anyways we got 31/50 for this section not very ideal as we got quite high the last time.....

Then came short case, this case made me realise first-aid manuals can never be trusted, we treated and followed every procedure like in the first-aid manual but the judge say wrong wrong, treatment for snakebite tie above the wound only don need tie bottom, treatment for anaphylactic shock shld not sit casualty up, i was like wth, we studied the manual please, but the judge got one doctor there to back them up so what to do however we argued back they would have sth to say, although mine and Joel's case was abit screwed, YS was like so flawless just that the judge say YS response very slow, aiyah he's like that one lah, watch how he speaks,... rrrmmmm and you would know...... i think it was his case that pulled everything up..... and the judge's said not bad.. was quite cool anyway considering the shit we had for TOC.... and was even doubting whether the judge was consoling us lolz....in the end we won lah..... 66/100, win by one point saddening, but this score did not really improve from our past what it was always the same....

Then came lunch, the food totally was abit difficult to eat, but anyways still eat it cos hungry...

After luch came footdrills, i thought the judge would be chao xiaong lah, the judge first time i see was a woman and i notice she judge other teams that time stand like show attitude like that " You do footdrills my problem izzit..." chao scary, but it turned out in the end it was the best sequence i've done so far, and was the first time a judge praised our footdrills lolz..... the most satistfying thing was the slow march, i was so glad that i did not give up in forcing taurus to include the slow march section, if not it would not turn out to be the best part of the sequence, NZY even say he heard the officers standing around him helping out also was whispering to each other this team not bad ahr, also got one officer say i think was Hwee peng say this team footdrill very good one must watch..... I was like wth really.... then it was really true... we truly got the best ever score that we ever received for footdrills, 41/50..... i was like beaming on the way back to the holding room, morale boosted for long case.....

After a short time later (which however seemed very long), long case came.... honestly i must say we totally deproved at long case, it was not as if this is the first time we had done a 4 casualty case for comp. but this was actually my first time going alone... and Marcus gave be a female casualty I was like wth, female casualty??? wat should i do, but luckily the judge was kind, that lady again lah, she reminded me the casualty was concious, then i suddenly aroused and completed the case without confusion, but was too nervous and tense up as what Melvin our steward said.... so tense that i diagnosed 2 bruises for a close fracture... so stupid of me and the judge gave me chao lots of chances to confirm lah, i kept asking like "mdm..... is there any deformityy as i touch the area which is swelling" the answer was like huh???? but got P,T,S so i just diagnose fracture lah... lolz, also the delegation of manpower was total screw up, commander ignored my "pleas" twice to call the ambulance lolzzz...... in the end must like "COMMANDER!!! I REALLY NEED TO CALL AMBULANCE NOW!!!!" making sure i do not shout too loudly, in case the judge have negative impression... hahaz.. I think it was like YS who saved the day again lah, judge who was like the AFA examiner told us he got full marks, YS was like jokin with his casualty which so happens to be Kang Wei over there lah.... even the judges an dsirs in the room also started laughing lah, from the garden to teaching the casualty how to eat fishball noodles properly, shi chao hx..... in the end we got like 129.5/200, already a very bad score considering we used to get 140's which i can remember in our cadet days..... lolzzz...

Also I must congratualte Team Cancer for their 3rd placing in AC and CONGRATZ.... Team Scorpio for gettin champions again for AC, I really hope and pray that one day i can see you all sweeping everything in comp. , that would definitely be a dream come true not for you only but also for me, we've experienced it and now I believe you all can do it, jia youzzzz, nat. comp. is never that easy.... To sum up this comp. , SJI-SJAB really gave it his all, here's the record that it had broken, about 4 people training although they are either sick or injured, I was sick and still went for briefing until really want to die like that, then it was ronn who injured his arm and stil go for training, then leon came with fever, eric then even trained with an injured right feet where he could hardly even bend his left leg, oh yah Zhiyang also came for comp. when he was running a fever, after comp. everyone starts falling sick again, Zhiyang and ronney, not forgetting to mention our commander Marcus, who even trained until his voice was like hurt the day before comp., which made us stop the training after an hour as he was like coughing like siao after he says sth scary lo....... this comp, really made me realise how much SJI-SJAB means to us, looking at how much we had to sacrifice for the comp. not only our time but our health...... first time i see people sacrifice so much for sth, clapzzz..... i really hope Team Scorpio and Taurus can now bring glory to SJI-SJAB by doing our best of our bestest for nat. comp... JIA YOUZZZ!!!!

PTM Magic...

The magic of St. Michael's School have really impacted me till now, see what St. michael's School has done to me..... update on today's PTM, Mrs tan said that I am a very neat guy and needed to buck up in Maths and Biology, but honestly I think I need to buck up in most of my sub. but anyways she advised me to be a little untidier when i do self-study and practising for my work, cos she noticed that i too neat already, and says i'm reliable.... coolzz.... but anyways its all true, i suddenly noticed all these that i do not know lolz, everything that you people can see in me now is thanks to my St. Michael's School days, although i've forgotten the school, but i wil still remember the wonderful days and the teachers over there luv them!!!

Must thank, Mrs Cher and Ms Karen Tan for their constant nagging on the importance of neatness which i would always remember, must thank Mdm Ng (my primary 1 form teacher) when she made me the monintor, i discovered all the leadership qualities in myself and my reliability to teachers, once onto the monitor seat i stood there for 4 years, also must thank Mrs Cher, Ms Chiang and Chew, Mr Chua,Ms Karen Tan and Mr Patrick Wong for developin the qualities in me over the years and believing in me, being in Higher Chinese for pri. school was nice, thanks Mr Ken lee and Mdm gao for my love for chinese and not forgetting the teacher who really made an impact in my heart Mr Christopher Chua, my confidence that i have and my crappiness you can say was also partly because of him, he created one of the turining points in my life, i know that he would be glad to know the Kuan Huai today is one who would not fall down because of too much stress or too little confidence in myself, thanks^^, Mdm Ang taught me the beatuy of Maths and really helped me and she would be glad to know i'm striving my best for maths now, bet if i go back she would still ask me whther i need help or not if she can help she will, how nice would it be if all of you could have such teachers right, if you can really make an impact in their lives they will too in yours....

What really made me to blog on this, it is the PTM with tan eng hong today, didn't know she taught so highly of me ^^.... therefore i think that my priamry school teachers are a result of who i am today, they duly deserve thier recognition.... would never in the world I would forget them even if they forget me....

Now we could only just hope..... comp. is like less than 24 hours away, our fate would be decided soon whether we win or lose but anyways, whether we taste victory will all fall heavily onto tom., now we could only just hope..... yesterday was somehow like the last day of school, 435 was getting to f-upped, i totally 100% can't stand them anymore, they keep sayin the teachers suck cos don't learn anything, but its actually u who suck cos u didn't even make the effort to listen, suckers, then...... haizzz..... no hope liao, wonder why most sec 4's i know are actually more childish in their minds than some of my juniors, its actually chao true lah, that's what i kept sayin.....

But last day of school is actually, the day where all hw comes, the teachers would just dump to you everything they could not finish during the normal school days( that's not ok), but giving us hw to prepare for mid-year (that's ok)..... juz that we students have to reallly squeeze out the time to do the pile that is offered to us..... Honestly Ms Wong's lesson is getting better and better, don't know why everyone says she's boring, I feel that my fav. lesson now is humans. lah, not only do we have a nice teacher, who already can confirm u A1's in exams, the class is actuallly not bad too (cos we have to leave class to another class for lesson cos the most of the f-upped people in 435 taking elct. hist.), it's like THANK GOD!!!!! I'm also starting to understand what Tan Choy Ping's teaching already thank god, if not would surely die futher....

Training in the afternoon was actually quite slack, I did not participate in training, I was like with team scorpio anyway they had like recrea for like quite long at the end was like quite boring, i rather stay with team scorpio, honestly i feel that although they have not won the comp. yet they have already won already, I always believe in the phrase that competition is not all about the product that u finally give out, but is actually the members in the team that counts ( a shorter version of my dao li)....., thus looking at how well bonded they are now, they have really won already, i'm just glad, adding on they would surely win tommorrow, I would feel even more glad for them(now i can see why Roy was so crazy about our team, lolz), but here is all i have to stay, you have already succeeded in finishing your fist distance, complete the next and you'll really one team to be reckon with.....

Later, going for my final short training for comp. , frm 1 to maybe until around 2-3 only lah, shld not train too much, and i maybe slacking in school until the time for my PTM or shouldn't I.... but one thing i know is that we can only just pray and hope for a good day tom...... plz.......

I starting to really fall in love with the song "guan huai fang shi", i feel that it not only represents me, but the song really shows I feel most of the time, it's actualy cool to have a song that resembles you, lolzzzz.....

Would I taste victory again????

Victory smile on our faces???? I seriously have confidence problems about this coming saturday, I seriously am in doubt now, whether a victorious smile would befall on my face or isit the other, I really need the taste of victory to boost my morale up again, cause I really been feeling down these days, wo yi qie dou kan bu shun yan de.... .

I really miss those days where I can confidently say to myself, I've worked hard and victory whther is ours or not we are already a winner. Bad Luck has constantly been hitting me, I heard another thing I missed getting 2nd top inlevel Sec3 for combined humans geog. by 2 mark, it was like wth..... so unlucky sia...... then adding salt to wound having an inconsiderate class really sux, 435 sux, people haven finish bi-weekly today they started to make so much freaking noise that I cannot concentrate till the paper end, in the end ended up screwing some li jie ce yan questions up..... can't stand it.... shit my luck....

Don't really know why, but the sec4 level have certainly been hit by somthing funny lo, my class over the past week have saw 5 people not coming to school everyday because they are sick, i thought that was already quite bad and some people could like fall sick in one day..... but until i heard 421 got 17 people absent in one day then i knew it was getting worse, then I think 436 was next, wonder which class would be hit nxt...

I can't stand this anymore lah, fallen sick yesterday during school hours, don't want to go home halfway as i wanted to go comp. briefing but still gave up halfway during the briefing and went home, guess wo he na xie comp. briefing hen mei yuan fen lah, lolz, past few comp. briefings all also never go cos not in singapore, but anyways got to pon the stupid house cheer also, so cool, it is just a waste of time lah, standing with the crowd and shouting some crappy stuff....

Then when coming home in a taxi, I realised that my handphone fell out of my pocket when i was alighting from te taxi, i was like wtf, then i quickly called my no. chao lots of times but no one answer so then i knew just forget bout it, i lost it in my sense of "semi-conciousness" but what hurts most is not the lost of my phone, but the loss of all me friends and mentors and teachers and instructors and tourguides numbers inside my phone, some of their numbers i got write down in black and white some i did not, it still hurts until now, considering the difficulty of enabling us to become frenz and jiu shi yuan fen rang wo men zuo peng you de....... not funny lor, is like must built my frenz from scratch if i can't find their no. after digging through my records of no. which are all over the place, really crossing my fingers.....

Today, cannot go for training at HQ, felt quite bad, comp is like in one week and need to refresh some of my skilss hahaz, but i still confident in myself though that i would not forget anything, i really hoped marcus pushed the team to practise slow march today cos i kept reminding him to start on sat., remind until i and he also sianz already, but I seriously doubt he would remember, if not we just really have to work and mugg chao hard this week and not slack, really, if we want to be extra confident whther we can win comp. , remember people never once do i look down on my opponent manzzz, not like some other people, even though they are younger or older, i don't care all i know that they are my opponents and my goal is just to defeat them, i definitely would not think they are lousier than us cos if they can compete in the same category as us, then they would definitely have the same level of proficiency and skill....

Don't know why, I've been in a bad mood these few days, everything also kan bu shun yan wan, but I try my best not to show it in front of my friends lah, must be happy and smile always no matter what, I seriously think it helps me ease my feelings down abit, really a wonderful thing that I learnt from Fabian.... but I really don't noe why, i'm sure there is something bugging me really I can't stand it lah..... background music: guan huai fang shi....sui ran ren ren jiao wo Guan Huai, wo yeh xu yao bie ren de Guan huai .... I actually don't think I should say what I'm not happy about on here lah, because people come and read my blog you see.....

Honestly, I always must repeat this phrase, don noe why, the competition between companies/teams/groups is actually not the end result or the product you finally produce but it is between the members of your team that really counts.....

But anyways I spent the whole afternoon today from 3 sth to about 6 sth helping taurus, scorpio and cancer pack there first-aid kit until chao nice and also DIY something on the first aid kit for cancer lah, hope they don't mess it up, i squeezed alot of brain juice out to attach a huge tissue box to a small first-aid kit for extra storage...... also help in cancer first-aid training as i can see they really need help in their first aid because...(sentence is continued).....

Tomorrow getting Physics reaults back, and i finally got an A on my report card, Chinese!!!!! The only 2 subjects i can depend to get As is Chinese and Combined Humans. , all the others are really like shit... dont even want to talk and chinese is an A2, 74 missed A1 by freaking 1 mark.....

Anyways got to go now.... tata and happy watching The Amazing Race (it really helps)..... listening to music by Stef Sun also helps too, Kai Shi Dong Le......

..What the heck.... it's like shit me lah... i totally hate SS, SS suck, SS would only pull your grades down lah, my mood changed today after I got back my Humans. result lah... One look Elect Geog.- 11/13, i was like YEAH... then flip to front page SS.... 4/12.... then it was like shit me lah.. stupid SS pull my grade down, if not can get 19 over marks lor..... then i was like having bad mood for the whole day, i complained to wong also, she say she also quite surprised at my SS marks and said it was my causal link.... OMG, i'm really going to mugggg SS chao hard now, cannot let it pull down my Geog. mark, Geog is like everything to me lah.... Stupid SS... Okay, now i would answer the long awaited question that everyone wants to know, Why I so crazy bout Geog?.... I don't think the people who reads my blog know much about that, but others who know will still stumble upon it every once and then.... Anyways, Geography really brought me a lot of things lah, it started from the interests in the Major Airlines of the World then to the places of the world then to everything that is Geogrpahy......

Again I feel it has brought to me alot of things lah, satisfaction of helping others improve and sharing with them, the excitement of wanting to travel the world, many friends which I wouldn't have made if not for my interest in Geog. and the world, lots and lots on interesting facts bout the world, made me found a world map which fools created showing all the crappy stuff (show you nxt time), and many many others.

Also today lah.... the contractors upgrading the lift in our estate also chao what lah... they pian pian choose today to cut off all electricity for the day, then obviously my taping for The Amazing Race was cannot lah.... chao what one lah... cannot stand them lor.... making drilling noises chao irritating now they deny me of the chance to like kill the anticipation in me of really catch the first episode of the race lah.... really waitin for so long liao lah... this is killing me!!!!!!!

Ah!!!! I'm screaming alive the anticipation really kills me manzzz.... when is wong wah lee going to ever return our humans papers... i know i suck at SS but am constantly trying my best to improve it.... honestly, if SS wasn't part of Geog. i would have just hecked care bout it, but it's not!!!! if i do badly for it, although i can do chao hao for my geog. but still would get pulled down, but honestly, this is the 1st time i am not confident of my answers for geog. , I really feel it could be better, Wong say she would return them either tom. or thurs, so if you see me sad, in a very funny mood, u shld noe what happened!!!!

i'm like chao not surprised by my results so far lah... 0 distinctions, 29 for a maths, 24.5 for e, 30.5 for chem. , 27 for bio..... once i look at my maths papers, i thought to myself, O SHIT ME LAH..... KUAN HUAI u are chao stupid, chao duo careless mistakes lah.... suppose to be 17+x, i go n write 17x, 10+2=20, OMG, i feel i'm getting stupid..... , but i feel this was one of my worse set of results..... wdv.....

Oh yah, almost forgot.... yesterday's was Matt's birthday, gave hime some letter with words written on it, i design it in way that i hoped he liked...... but anyway that I think was one of the most meaningful gift i've ever given some1 lah... honestly...... After reading ronn's blog, about kian spiling the surprise, i muz really praise myself, lolz, for saying to kian that I better not tell him anything as he is so blur until later he anyhow talk hahaz, when he ask me what's inside my envelope and what is happening...lolz.....

Keeping to my promise... here is my first post to kick of the travelling experience... and obviously the first subject or country I would want to review about is Shanghai..... honestly, i've been there about 2 times already and have really fell in love with the place, it is definitely an interesting place to explore, honestly you could even find some shopping centres built by Singapore companies therefore not lacking the Singapore taste, obviously, i'm not going to post every thing I know about Shnaghai up here lah, is not people would just copyright and pass it off as theirs, lolzzz, i believe that will happen, so if you want, press the right click on the mouse button and it will tell you what to do!!!! hahaz!!!
Honestly, let me start off with a picture welcoming you to explore the city of Shanghai....

Actually, this was taken when i was about to fly home, but anyways lets start.......

Landing at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in you airplane, a look out of your windows would look at the beautiful newly built Shanghai Pudong International Airport, a sight to really admire although it is still in its early stages, on entering the terminal, if in summer, you would feel the air-con blasting down on you to overcome to hot and humid temperatures while in winter the warm air give you warmth from the coldness outside. Passing through immigration and loading your bags on your tour bus and set off for the city, honestly, it takes 1 hour just to reach the heart of the city of Shanghai, don't complain about the long journey, wait till u here about certain journey times later. On looking back the airport, beside you the flyover over the airport tarmac and just beside you would be the huge international airline planes, the few minutes out, you would be able to notice shanghai's maglev train, takes you to a subway station nearer to the city in just 7 minutes and highest speed??? 435km/h... i tried before K!!!! chao fun lah...

Anyway onentering the city centre the first thing that would catch your attention in the day is Dong Fang Min Zhu Dian Shi Ta, while at night the brightness and attractiveness of The Bund would certainly catch your attention with the thousands of people around, suo wei dao shanghai jiu kan ren tou mah!!! Looking from the Bund across into the Pudong area, you would see the 4th highest building in the world " Jin Mao Da Sha".... The bund overlooks Whampoa river which flows into the 3rd longest river in the world, " The Yangtze".

For avid shoppers, there is alot of places for you to choose from, their Orchard road, known as Najing Road, shopping for souveniers, Shen Huan Miao/ Yuyuan would be the best place ever to get them traditional souvenirs like chinese seals with your name carve on them to modern day souveniers like magnets, looking for some imitation to Nike or whatever Xiangyang Lu is the place for you... and be clever, BARGAIN, GAN GAN DE QU BARGAIN, they say 300 yuan right, don't stupidly agree, must cut-cut-cut everything to at least two-thirds, 300 must say 80, normally they would not allow at first, but then using various techniques you would be able to succeedpractice makes perfect.... experience state you can cut fromm 300-100, 180-90 etc.... hahaz... Xin Tian Di, although looks modern, but looks like some old european town, but the goods there chao ex. one don't need to see also know...

Not interested in shopping??? Take a boat down whampoa river at night and admire the nice night scenery, or ascend up the oriental pearl tower, you would receive a magnificent view!!!

Yuyuan, Chen huan miao

Some facts, Shanghai is separated into old and new shanghai by the means of whampoa river, the new side is called Pudong while the old, Puxi. Shanghai is always changing so don't expect roads and building s to be the same when you go back one year or maybe even 6 months later.. that's the time span between my 2 trips.... lolzzz.. but one thing i must recommend to you all, i got to know this uncle making chinese traditional seals with your name carved on it in shanghai, the first time i went there was like my parents talking to him and then introduce me to him also, then during that trip, we went there about few times, then during 2005 June, went back to the same shop, Uncle still remembers me hahaz, he even mistaken me for a tour guide hahaz ( maybe after all my ambition may come true) this was because like i came back in such a short period of time, so i become his "shou ke" but don noe if i go bak now he still remembers me hahaz, his stall is in some traditional wooden stands overlooking a departmental stor i think and with a whole row of shops to the lest of him, although his seals are quite expensiveabout twice but his seals are really hand-crafted and real true quality as what our tour-guide said, some others are just make of some "fen" hahaz, i walk around the whole area of yuyuan right, he was the only one using hands to carve, all the others use drills, and thier packaging is just a plastic bag, while the uncle is a nice box hahaz... but don't forget to ask for free ink pad...

Not forgetting, people over there are chao friendly lah, they would try to help you when you approach them, so don't be scared, at most they would just dao you thinking you are some salesman...lolzzz. The tour guide we had also chao friendly lah, thats all i have to post about shanghai, wanna know anything else, ask me lah hahaz, i will tell you everything that i had learn from my tour guide, trust me it is chao interesting one, that is why shanghai is my most favourite place among the places i went to.....

Common Tests!!!!

The time of stress is over for now, yeah!!! common test over!!! but so what... common test over, mid-year coming lah, still must mug.... but anyways back to common tests, amaths and emaths were like ermm ok, emaths still can pass lah, only if i'm lucky, but for amaths, omg, i really don noe lah, don't want to think about it...... combined humans. really quite confident hope can get high marks if not i will feel so sad.... physics was like, OMG this paper was like one of the easiest paper i have ever done lah, this time confirm can pass one, biology also except got some mistakes surely one, chemistry is like sec. A ok, sec. C ok, but section B, i really screw up a typical stupid mistake i make:

Q:Nicobium is a poisonous gas at room temperature and pressure. ..... (and the question goes on, describing it would react with what to form what and blah blah blah)

Q1a: Is Nicobium a metal or a non-metal? Explain!!!
Being me, i stupidly go and put it as a metal, it was like OMG when i found out later from my frenz, they already told us it was a gas!!! I was like AAAHHHHH!!!! y am i so stupid?????

Interesting Day...

Today was actually quite an interesting and funny day lah..... Lets start from morning we ran 4km for PE lesson, a first in thousands and thousands of minutes of PE lessons in SJI, lol, now i understand what matt, ronn and weijie talkin about now, thought they run 4 km themselves, crazy..lolz... anyways it was ok lah walking and running altogether, just run only right......dotz.....

Lessons just followed and RME was equally boring, and Aaron was equally lame and crazy. SOUGHT DE..... then after school came SHATEC, what is SHATEC? By the way is a free seven course dinner provided free by the school with a choice of either Italian, French, Chinese or Japanese cusine, believe it??? of course not lah, where got so good one, it is a theory session combine with a practical session to practice their skills, SHATEC is actually a hotel and tourism management school, so cool, hahaz, the theory session saw us learning the various cutlery used in western dining and proper dining ettiqutte... as a typical class of 435, there was indeed laughter, lameness and crappiness all combined together in one: (Ok this is all bout a lesson on western dining ettiqutte) with a typical personality like Aaron in there,

What is Sky Juice can guess or not??? it is just plain water, hahaz chao bhx.....
A typical aaron joke comes now, if a lady comes up to a table when you are dining and you want to invite her to sit down, as a gentleman you would stand up to welcome her right??? ok what if the MM LKY come what do you do???? Aaron's reply: O!!! I know, we just put our right fist on our chest and recite the singapore pledge, maybe also sing the national anthem..... wah liao chao funny lah.... cannot remember other joke liao...

K now came the dining part, we were served a 5 course meal, with bread and rockmelon as an apitizer, mushroom soup, barbecued chicken, strawbery cake and then coffee or tea, this was actually held to put the skills that we had learnt just now, honestly the food there is chaoo nice lah, i think it is even better than the food served outside, don't know why hor, maybe too hungry???? But everything was going well, we were sitting in a make-up restaurant which was actually very real with real restaurant facilities and quite cosy and it was a comfortable setting to relax, we were all enjoying the food and the jokes around and enjoying the quiet and comfortable atmosphere until Wang Guan decided to take out a camera and take a photo of Sherman and Royston having their meal, unnoticingly, he then pressed the button to take a shot with flash and therefore at this time not wanting to give up on the opportunity, aaron with all his lameness shouts out " excuse me... no flash photography!!!", wah liao then what was supposed to be a quiet restaurant atmosphere turned into some havoc coffee shop..... hahaz chao hao siao lah at that time... anyways... i got nothing much to say already now signing off.... remember to catch the premiere of The Amazing Race 9 ahr, if you miss it, don't even try to cry cause I've already told you.... the premiere would be confirmed on 1st March already.......

..dotz... i'm back after mmmm... a few days???? basically, life's about the same alot of things happen during the past few days, from enrichment day which is utterly boring!!!! fancy sitting in chinese class for 3 periods and another 3 for english, is chao boring one lah!!!! then on the day of the release of the o-level results i saw people with a sense of excitement awaiting their results which makes me think what would i want to do in the future... honestly, i have totally no idea.... shld i aim for a degree in international tourism or geography, or should i go for a short term goal of a diploma in any of the 2 tourism related courses hahaz, i don't know.....

anyways again, today was just another ordinary day, going to school, coming back home and typing on this comp. my english is definitely getting worse..... i totally wonder why can only english be counted as L1 and why can't chinese be counted since chinese is gaining importance in the world, chao unfair lar, now must worry so much for my english lah, its really quite bad i think!!!!

anyway thats all for today..... i shall continue with the travelling reviews on another day though... once i figure out the html for the right click thinggy, don't know how to explain.... maybe after the common test i should bring in the element of travel into my blog..... my brain juices are already flowing now liao, but i only have the time to do it after the common tests...

To end off the post..... of course i must sign off with a reality tv bite what!!! k here goes....
For all those who are really interested in knowing more about the world, and exploring what really lies beyond the shores of Singapore, The Amazing Race 9 should not be missed... i think it would be premiering on 2 march on channel 5 with a 2 hour telecast, but the most important think is watching it will ot only make you learn more about the world but also immerse into the intensity and the atmosphere of the tense competition going on, also i was also surprised reading yesterday's Straits Times saying that AXN would be hosting THE AMAZING RACE: ASIA, wah liao chao hao lah, anyone in asia can take part, not like the american version only americans can take part and must be above 21, wish i could really take part lah but too bad not old enough, no partner interested and cannot sacrifice precious schooling years to go for this 1 month race... hahaz...so sad.... ok back to season 9 so if you want to explore new corners of the earth be sure to catch the new season...... in Greece- Sicily, Russia- Moscow.....

Overseas.... Outside Singapore.... other people ask me why izzit so great, it's because i do not want to be stuck on this hot and humid island all the time cause i would be bored, although i am always craving to go overseas, i do not want to go there juz for fun, but also to learn..... of course without friends it would be totally boring right?????? What i feel definitely, so on this trips i would always grab the chance to make more friends whether is locals, people in my tour or the tour guide whatever, they definitely light up my trip always, this would also mean at least no need to like stick to my family always wad lol...cos quite boring one...frenz are definitely better....... as everyone knows i'm indeed crazy about everything in tourism especially the different airlines around the world, that's why in my blog you see them, a whole lot of links to thier websites and my fav. flight eva....... although people may think airplane flights are boring, i feel that they are cool although quite frustrating sometimes, depending on the time of the day and who you are with lol...... anyways if you ask me why i added this entry after that long entry on myself, i would say this entry is the start to some entries being travel info and about other countries and definitely reviews on airlines!!!!!

If you ask me where would I want to go most is definitely Australia cause that's my dream destination, i'm so crazy about it that, once i step into an australian airport, i'm in fact quite satisfied hahaz... but if you ask me to really choose where is it that i really yearn and long to go is Africa, maybe either South Africa, Kenya or Ethiopia cause it would definitely provide me with a experience and memories to last a lifetime.... so if you are asking my advise on where to go, go with your heart, with yourself whether it is the US, Malaysia or China just go with what your feel and propose a destination to your family......

I don't know why i just have to insert this crappy post (or is it not) here, lots of things happened last week one can be called a miracle and another some shit!!!! by some shitty teacher which I have lost all respect for......

Let's talk about good things first, a miracle finally happened, Zhao Dong finally came out of his daoneesss attitude towards 208 people and approached us on thursday to crap about something on transexuals with sam loke's essay.... thinking about how he like daozzz 208 people for the past 13 months and his famous phrase of "Ok lah Ok lah" to everything we say is considered in somewhat a little of a miracle lah....lol.....

For everything good there muz be something bad that would always happen, don noe why, i'm still quite infruiated with the stupid teacher, she totally suck lah... (for all who noe me this is the first time I have said a teacher really suck, never once be4 i blurted that out) and also juz when I was beginning to see another side of the class stupid them have just to revert back to their old ways they begin to suck again..... i know that none of my classmates read my blog because i don even feel like telling them to... because they are quite stupid and crappy...... wdv..... i'm beginning to hate my class again and that teacher...... wdv..... i miss ong mei fen, wish she was back.......

dotzzz lah... don't wish to ramble on about the stupid incident and continue to what I like best REALITY TV..... survivor panama: Exile Island rox manzzz.... it is better than the previous few seasons.... starting already quite interesting already, split into 4 tribes... got one crazy deserted island where there is a hidden immunity idol etc.... wonder what's the twist up next... seems like i cannot access the website which i always go to....k forget about revealing it.... on to TAR, yes! the cool race manzzz.... new season shld be startin on 1st march cos US premiere is 28 Feb.....watch out for it manzzz... Moscow.....Sicily..... the Middle East.... COOL.... A MUST WATCH!!!!!

THE FACES OF ME !!!!!!

I don't know why I want to blog bout this but i don't care, if my classmates or teachers chance upon my blog they would read this and i noe of some people who have already juz chance upon my blog....wdv......

Many people ask me why I have changed from the once quiet me to this crazy me??? In fact to me, i have actually not quite change at all, maybe different groups of people see me differently, my primary schl frenz would say " u got chang meh??? u equally like to suan, kar jiao and crap alot whether in class or outside????" my lower sec classmates would say " i don't noe why u change until like so crazy now" while my classmates would say that i'm equally quiet in class and to them and my CCA mates have definitely no doubt say i change to become more lame and crappy....... anyways i feel i smile more now that the past......

why i change??? frm some quiet and nervous of everything person to one who is abit like want to do wdv maybe i can answer to thos people who always ask me.... maybe i met more different type of people and gone through different things now...... Betty (my tour guide in Taiwan), what i learn from her is to smile always and you would be happier, also Yvonne Lim ( the mediacorp actress that i got to know through December Dazzle) I also learn to have more confidence in myself and to give a try and achieve whatever you want to do if not you would regret, Shu Yun (my OBS instructor) and the whole OBS course made me realise the goals in my life and how would i go about achieveing them, also Bizworld 2003 and 2004 which would be the perfect example of the never give up attitude, our team failed to qualify for finals in 2003 but in 2004 we got a superb second, Claudine and Grace ( the TLE instructors that I had for Shanghai and Beijing 2005) i will never forget them, confidence, my various ideas i have now whether for entrepreneurship or wdv projects or even what I like to do tourism, geography is all thanks to them....also some of my friends I met along the way through all this journeys........

Honestly, i can have uncontrollable mood and attitude swings, but that hardly happens unless i'm totally pissed than you better watch out... i dont noe what may just happen, do you all believe i shouted "shen jing bing" to some chinaman in beijing when i was crossing the road at wangfujing in beijing because he almost wanted to knock me down with his car (its head juz stop infront of my legs estimated length 2-4 cm and the light was green, i just turned and shouted, for all i care..... and the time in Beijing subway where i just shouted "SHUT UP" to Bryan cos I was so pissed with him and that was not allowed in their culture unlike Singapore, or the incident in sec2 at the end of FYE english 2004, i don wan to write about it again cos it is juz an insult and would dirty my blog.....WDV.... honestly, only a few people have seen this side of me, my primary school frenz have certainly seen them, but my secondary school frenz it's juz a few zhaozzz, bryan, jon tam, OCX.... that's all that i can think off.... even marcus(soh) hadn't even seen the other side of me.....

Otherwise i will be like me myself which everyone has seen me, i can even be even better if i feel the need to, which i haven felt in sji...... 4 consective years of being class monitior in sms and another year of being a somesort of a worker to my teachers in primary schl have defintiely made me somehow enjoyed life there more than in sji... however, if you were to compare the activities that i were involved in and how it had impacted my life.... sji would surely get the thumbs up..... finally i would like to end of this super long post with this that all businessmen shld always noe.....

happy chinese new year everyone..... the shanghai post can wait lah cos must do until very nice one...... k.... now....let me recall what i want to blog...ahr yah.. k...

zhen de shi chao bu hao xiao.... hahaz Wang Guan was stunned on stage during yesterdays CNY concert in school hahaz damn funny everyone shout bu hao xiao to him and he said bu hao xiao back and his english accent was chao funny lah cannot speak like michael ee then dont do it lah hahaz n also we keep u infected.... i bet right the concert would be so boring without both of them cos the items were so boring besides them...lolz wadever....

k ask you all question ahr... answer correct got prize... wat is "chop chop", raise the red flag, "DANGER!!!!!!", zoom zoom... anyone got the answer nvm give you 10 secs, 10...1, k the answer is they are Tan Eng Hong's rules for maths hahaz, wherever she made all of that up from i don noe but i only noe is chao hao xiao lor, she also chao crazy one lor, gave us a four minute test on vectors on thrusday where we had to do three questions first one on sketching which include three parts, the second question include 5 so as the last one wth and everything has to be done from 9:26-9:30 chao crazy and the class was complaining all the way hahaz .....

after school yesterday went to eat lunch with marcus, trent and kevin, nothing much happened except that marcus was equally chao borin hahaz, his life only revolves around school and sjab...is like wth.... k anywaes then bought the guo meimei album.. basically nth INTERESTING happened.. then at night went out to chinatown, chao ji pack lah but also damn fun to walk into the lanes and squeeze with the people lah hahaz...and i saw the mediacorp people rehearsing for today's chinese new year concert lah.... anyways is nothing interesting to watch lor, the artistes in real life look like any other ordinary person, wdv.........

finally, i can really see the beauty of Emirates, the airline chao rock lah, every plane desgin whether exterior or interior also designed by them lah, from lighting to the seats, i was most impressed with the lighting, it can be regulated to any time of the day especially at night, they do not juz off the lights they have this type of light where it reflects the night sky chao mei lah, compared to all the other airlines where they juz off the lights..... really wish can experience the Emirates Experience.... ver Exciting and should be fun, the service must surely be chao good lah....

also, i think you al never watch campus superstar but got this guy call yiyuan his singing totally rock lah.... listen to him on the com. right didn't even sound like some teenager singing but soun like some pro singer, don believe listen now... : Press Here!!!!

finally, all i like to say is i'm getting too tired and bored about staying in singapore, getting more and more boring lor, bu shi orchard, jiu shi suntec, hai shi sentosa, bu jiu shi east coast, if not pasir ris, too boring and sianzzz liao... i'm really craving to escape and go explore the world preferably with my frenz more than my family or myself lah..... cos right with family right got too much restrictions liao and parents too scaared of everything liao, and myself right, too boring lah........ how i wish i could just fly away to another land......!!!!!!

I just have to say i'm surprised Lam said that our orientation on thursday for the sec1s was not bad lah.... i just couldn't believe it .... whatever YS does i think it is alwaes last minute which is true(he only started planning 2 weeks be4 this and the day before he was fooling around during comp. training and not even preparing for it for the next day)...... overall the orientation was just messy, disorganized and lack of planning lah dotzzzzz.... i did felt like changing and going home straight away lor.... whatever lah.....

I don't know what make me say this lah, but telling my juniors who express interest in this year's Shanghai trip really make me look back on the time i went on it myself. The happy and memorable times, the crazy things that happened over there and me falling in love with the city of Shanghai, it rocks mannzzz, one difference between Shanghai and Beijing is that Shanghai's Developent is really based on the economy of China, while Beijing's one is mainly based on Olympics 2008 whatever happens after is still a mystery therefore the next post I may just blog about my favourite places Shanghai and Hangzhou, maybe brief intro lah hor...... alot of interesting facts i learnt there......

Yesterday's training was ten times better than previous trainings, with no YS around it was just the best lor, no nonsense from him and no disturbance from him, even though he says he would not mind participating in the next comp. , i really think ta zhi shi kou shi xin fei er yi. Whatever manzzz, however I really am getting to figure out the good side of 435, whenever you want laughter and craziness you would just have to step inside class and no matter which teacher is in class, there would always be one joker which would start everything, and I really think 435 have changed from the once stupid and really brainless 335 which were so childish, but i did not say they are very good ahr......

What's wrong with pronouncing.... sh....aaaaannngggg....hai.... i like to say it that way what... on Monday I shared with the sec3's on the sh.....aaaaaannnggggg...hai trip and indeed they laughed at all that was not funny... dotzzzz...... anywaes this brought back memories of 2005 June Hols....way too cool....... I feel that they very lucky lah, got so many programmes to choose frm, our year onli got china and india now they got another vietnam.... if i were to choose i were to go india and vietnam and not china lah cos can go with family also, the other 2 my family surely dare not to go one...... so to all my sec 3 juniors, treasure the chance that you have to take part in these exchange prog. and I can gurantee you would have a fun and great and memorable time no matter if you are going there or hosting them in Singapore, both of which i experienced be4 and know it would be really a expereince one would never forget.....

Anywaes again.... bak to normal evryday school life..... sec4 damn bloody stressful lor.... everyday my timetable would be come home, eat, sleep, eat, do hw/study, and sleep again.... too tired and stressed out.... haizzz......wondering when's the next hols..... again many thing changed our form techer now is Mrs Tan although I prefer Ong and Chem. teacher change to Ms Tan Choy Ping........aiyohhhhh.....

i'm still wonderin what will my future be like... now i really realise how ggod it is to know nothing and juz follow the lead..... lolzz..... don't know what to blog already..... let me think for a while 1st....

..the last day of 2005.. haizzz..sobss.... 2005 was my best year ever, totally had a blast this year and do not mind going through 2005 again (wish i had some kind of a device to turn back time)... there were totally ups and downs of 2005 and one very obvious down is 335 which i totally do not wish to elaborate further.. this post is juz a reflection of the year 2005......

"an entrepreneur is someone who knows how to take risks, never succumb to pressure, never give up and someone who knows how to reflect on his mistakes...an explorer totally need to have the same qualities..." all of u may wonder why is state the last sentence, that was what the TLE programme was all about in Shanghai and Beijing 2005.... the significance of a entrpreneur and a explorer..........nvm about that and lets start...

overall 2005 was a year about tourism and the travel industry..... i still remember 2004 was about the media industry where i went through two courses of media......what will 2006 be then i wonder... entrepreneurship year????? i still hope 2006 would still be another year of exploration and travel..........

basically loads of things happened this year which would stay in my memories all my life....highlights of 2005: hahaz....

Shanghai Trip 2005: A wonderful and memorable 9 day experience with TLE, it made me like the city of Shanghai even more and made me get to know more about being and entrepreneur and its ups and downs of it....

OBS Singapore: I still remember my watch.. RALEIGH!!!!! and our wonderful and nice instructor Shu Yun... definitely made more frenz there and realised so much things about myself....

Beijing Trip 2005: Another wonderful and memorable 6 day experience with the TLE in Beijing... as Beijing was one of the cities in Asia that I longed to visit and I was able to visit one of the wonders of the world THE GREAT WALL!!!! this trip was based on an explorer instead of an entrepreneur... however what i feel is that an explorer and an entrepreneur are both interelated and qualitites of each are the same.... honestly TLE definitely played a big part in my life in 2005......

Taiwan Trip 2005: This is another trip that I treasure most more than my shanghai trip in 2004 or any other trip.... i made more frenz through this trip and definitely had a whale of a time..... looking at all the natural and historical stuff of taiwan and the aftermath of the 921 earthquake in 1999 really make this one of my best trips ever....not forgetting Betty and Eddy my tour guides!!!! they are the best tour guides i ever had....... hen you mo qi hahaz...

Overall, these are some of the happenings in 2005, wanna know more FLIP THROUGH MY ARVHIVES LAH......

Finally as the year comes to a close i feel glad and happy to know that among all the activities in 2005 i got to know more people and made more frenz through the processes no matter young or old and whatever jobs they are...

Grace: She was my first instructor with the TLE trip in Shanghai, i feel that she is better than some of our teachers lor...

Claudine: She was my instructor for the Beijing trip..... although i feel that Grace was better as she was more kai fang I see she was putting in the effort to help our group win the presentation and i really acknowledge that......

Xiao Yan Jie: She was my Dao You in Shanghai... i learn alot about Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou from her and her experiences as a tour guide, cause i was so interested, those who know me well shld noe why hahaz....

Betty,Eddy: I think I shld mention them both together as I feel that they hen you yuan he hen you mo qi... although one is taiwanese and the other is singaporean... both are also my Dao You... they are the best dao you i ever had manzzzz....still keeping in touch with them..... i dare say that the taiwan trip was made even more interesting because of them.. i never once had a dao you which is so kai fang and looking and watching them inspired me more to fulfill this path in the future... honestly.. i still can't decide from the 3....

As i finish the last post of 2005.... I hope that 2006 would be equally as memorable and fun as 2005 ........

bAk fRom tAiwaN.....s0bbbssss... have been back from taiwan for like 4 days and an still missing the times then... it was like only last week on this day I am in Kilin Hotel in Taipei..... the feeling of being overseas is great, no stress, no need to put up a long face, letting myself loose and go crazy...... hahaz..... joking with the tour guides and frenz was our favourite pastime then..... alright lets start from the beginning ok...

first day....... the CX flight to taipei transit in Hong Kong was absolutely comfortable and service standards is cool, i so like to take airplanes as some of your'll noe..... the air stewardess uniform is also very very nice...cool.... on landing in taipei... thought would be very cold like shanghai but in the end... juz one loody big normal air-con room lor... not cold at all..... anyway first day juz nothing..... juz guang jie at Xi-mending......but on a sat. alot of people noe!

second day--->>> went to see Yehliu, the coastal park and the coastal landforms.... never once thought i could see all these in asia, the waves very very very big one u standing on top of a high rock it also can reach u noe..... n i thought such scenery can only be seen in caucsian countries... china definetly don't have one....... then riding on twists and turns around the mountain for 1-2 hours made me go gong... but the scenery was breathtaking light blue oceans and reaching Taroko gorge saw the deep V-shaped valleys which are actually marble.... cutted through by the river water flow...... surprised me again such breathtaking views on rivers exist in Taiwan!!!!!.... then watch the A-mi cultural show juz normal....no feelings......

third day--->>> turning around the mountain roads for about seven hours made me quite giddy but our tour guide open up one hell of a karaoke session in the bus and we partied for like the whole ride and time juz passed in a flash...... and we reached Kaoshiung... that was already in the night... then walk till about midnight then go back hotel.... eating smelly toufu at Liuho Ye Shi... actually it was not smelly...it juz have a smelly smell but honestly the whit meat had no taste only the skin tastes nice....... then went to the Ai He to sit some weird boat name Ai Zhi chuan..... when our tour guide introduced it to us we also laughed Ai Zhi...??????? Aids??????

4th day----->>>>> Was actually quite boring everywhere we went was like buddhism teachings......haizzz....spring and autumn pavilions only the views where nice...... Fokuangshan..... don't believe in such stuff...... then got on to Chia Yi.... dinner was way too cool....... Taiwan style Seoul Garden it was one of the best meals i've ever eaten in my life....... hahazzzz....

5th day>>>>> went up Alishan..... 2 hrs up and 2hrs down, the winding bends was killing me..... but again the scenery safed me...... some parts of the road were like practically cannot see anything one....... on the mountain road up the mountain the visibility in front can sometimes drop to like 1-2 metres or even 0....... true what... wonder how the driver still can drive safely but he still did it...... walking along the great wall three weeks ago was like a saviour to me up there experienceing coldness of the great wal helped me adapt quickly to the temperatures up there which was "rumoured" to be vry low.......but it is not true....... not cold one... but again scenery there very nice....lots of stories and happenings there...shall not say much...don't spoil the atmosphere if u r going there nxt time wat...... then we went to Sun Moon Lake one of the areas hardest hit by the 921 earthquake in 1999.... saw the aftermath of it and the tour guide told us what happened to her then very sad story...... saw lots of new bulidings (rebuilt)...... mountains that split up...... the lake firstly which dropped from higher ground to lower ground.....an island which sunk.... and a lake which had almost dried up....... all this because of quake.... that night we stayed at the only hotel in that area left standin after the quake..... and that area at night was totally dark outside nothing to see and do one except stay in your room and watch tv..... and here was where it was super super super bloody cold.....

6th day..... trip back to taipei about 3 hours in the bus was like joking all the way with eddy, fabian and the two girls..... hahazzz.... lame jokes and everything were juz thrown out while everyone else in the bus were juz like sleeping.... then reach there go to some place to see taiwan troops boring.... then national pzlace meuseum...boring...... then taipei 101...the building was nice from the outside but inside what u can buy is thier souveniers only... then go up the tower is like very normal ordinary view of the taipei city...then go to shilin ye shi... wah is a very nice night market... way cool.... but cannot bargain as much as what i did in China......... then went back to hotel pu down our stuff and went for more shopping at Xi mending.......

Last day in taiwan was like juz waking up and going to airport and bidding goodbye to Betty, our tour guide...... i can give a comment on her now..... she is one of the best tour guides i ever had...... bao yang de hen hao and kept everyone in the tour group happy......... touring taiwan was made even better because of her and like she was a little bit better than Xiao Yan jie as i look back now..... then bid a goodbye to her and of we went to Hong Kong on CX 461....... sitting a Boeing 747 is cool interior and exterior design is way too cool....

Let me juz summarise Hong Kong in one paragraph..... crazy and complicated hotel was cool.... but outside was one hell of a time.... one must really know the art of shoving people too survive there during the christmas season all i see is people and more people!!!!!!! hahazzzzzz.... Second day happenings..... Victoria Peak is under renovation and could not admire the magnificent scenery and we continued to squeeze through people at Causeway Bay and continued to squeeze with people at Tsim Sha Tsui..... then went back to the hotel juz after 11....... third day we juz woke up walked around for a while then went to airport and took the CX 711 flight bak to Singapore and everything was over..... sobssss..... again......

To sum it all up....... this was one of my best trips ever and would really like to gon on it again with the same people....... looking back through the entry i forgotten one person, Eddy, our tour leader from Singapore.... very entertaining and noe how to deal with a tour group well, we like to follow him and he like to follow us where we go....hahaz.....he is also one of the reasons why the trip is so fun... but i'm glad that the package that my family ask me to choose for them (they gave me three to choose from what!!!! hahaz see this travel advisor was successful again) was the correct one and it really ended my year off with a bang... after the ups and downs of holidays........ finally, i juz want to say thanks to the following people to make this trip fun and memorable... Betty(our tour guide), Eddy(our tour leader).......

haizzz....what can i say about the holidays....loads of free time, boredom, tv, reality tv, star awards, overseas and dotz and more dotz..... besides thisit gives me loads of time to think and think....and some of the things that i think are.... (ok shall stop here, and don't think dirty...!!!!!)

Firstly as usual, a dose on reality tv...... the next reality show that is must watch BATTLE OF THE NETWORK REALITY TV STARS.... this show however i think there are no eliminations..... however they would compete in challenges and the winning team would get some prize... so therefore the show is a must watch not because of watching to see who wins but to watch what would happen if u put reality stars together imagine what will happen their cockiness attitude and craziness and everything...... Here are some of the contestants: the nice and friendly Chip and Kim from TAR, Crazy Jonathan and Gentle Victoria of TAR, Wendy from Project Runway, Evan from Joe Millionaire, Sue Hawk from Survivor and not forgetting the man himself Richard Hatch......should be an interesting show......

Besides that imagine what reality tv can come up with which one could never imagine, when i first saw these shows i was like huh?????? totally stunned.....shows such as Boy meets Boy (another version of Average Joe+ Joe Millionaire+ Bachelor Bachellorette), basically it involves one guy who is of course gay picking his most compaitible guy among guys who are both straight and not straight...... how funny and at the end of the game if pick correctly got prize, if wrong then no prize........ to think they support such shows.... stupid right?????? i was like WHAT when i saw it..... maybe got some more weirder ones i post it once i find one.... hahaz.... *wondering what will spring up next*

Carrying on with my life...thinking... 2005 was the best year of my life..... shall blog on that another day....... but one weird thing that i discovered why does Roy want me to win the best NCO trophy???? you know what i was thinking...... he wants to steal it again so as to help make up for his loss......HAHAzzz........ but i still aiming to win it because i want to end of life in SJI-SJAB with a bang.......... 2005 is ending and 2006 is nearing so should be time to plan ahead to O's..........

..thinking more..can't think anymore...as usual not feeling tired or sleepy and it's past 12 midnight in the morning...... thinking about it i'm just 33 hours away from boarding my plane to Hong Kong on transit to Taipei lieow...Yippeeeeee... finally can jie chu wo de men...... yeh...!!..!!!!...!!!!

also thinkin some more..... wondering what would happen to Team Taurus next year...will we disband???? will more conflicts occur???? i think that everything will just go haywire with the two killer combos present.... worse still in the squad adding on more killers, hou guo zhen de shi bu kan she xiang..... haizzz..haiz........ predicting 2006 is going to be one heck of a year.....

By the way just finished watching Survivor Finale thinking that how the jury jumps to the comclusion that Stef. was the villian and just not vote for her just pisses me off..... what I think of both of them is Danni did not actually play the game until the last few days and she was just skating throught the game juz as Judd said, but I definitely think that Stef. is the more deserving winner as firstly she played the game right from the beggining where she had to slog her guts out to avoid getting voted off and she put in alot more hard work than Danni did that's why I think she should have won, but anyway spoilers are spoilers as they turned out to be through, if spoilers are that believable, then the winner for The Amazing Race on Wednesday would be the Linz family, and for the first time in The Amazing Race, the second and third place teams, which would be the Weavers and Bransens compete in another mini race to win a car.......

For me spoilers are juz spoilers as I do not necessary believe them, they are not always true, although I only encountered once that it is not through, this would bring back memories of Survivor 7: Pearl Islands..... talking about this Survivor 12 Panama - Exile Island..... looks like it is filmed in a diff. location, but actually it is bak at The Pearl Islands, they just changed the name to hide this, the only diff. thing is how the game is to be played---want to know more go check out spoilers yourself lah! and to round up reality tv----- luckily The Amazing Race 9 would be bak to the 2 people team racing around the world as it is totally boring seeing them being stuck in America.......

ahhh....... this is it... feeling tired now.......... *yawns**yawns* and eyes going to shut... good nite and i'll continue tomolo....

Year-end holidays 2005, very boring, not as interesting as last year's, on this day last year I would be at Mediacorp's December Dazzle course and this year i'm at home typing this post bored, and pushing forward the zone comp. also made it worse and i'm getting more bored, still need to wait 7 days before my trip to Taiwan and Hong Kong, so excited Taiwan never go before going there for 7 days and another 3 days FREE in Hong Kong with no extra charge, how cool is that.... but then need to endure more boredom....

BEIJING TRIP 2005

TLE...The Little Entrepreneurs....twice in a row they provided me with a ultimately most unforgettable experience both in Shanghai and Beijing.....this time had to come up with an invention and not a business plan..... in the end our group came in second overall, not a bad result considering I gave my best, my group????? let me think I say only some gave their best but others juz slack and slack......

Forget about all this and lets go into the trip proper, overall I think Shanghai is a way much more better city than Beijing, I don't know why but I just feel it, maybe I see more skyscrapers there????? But I muz say that the first three days was totally a bore..... Day 1....... Tiananmen which was totally huge, The Hutongs and Drum Tower and the Song Ching Ling house.... OMG... history, history and more history which i hate, but I still managed to get some wonderful shots of the city and these places...

Day 2 was the school visit which provided us with boring lessons that I almost feel asleep......lessons on tang shi song ci and bai jia xing...then off to the Urban planning centre we go...not much diff. from the Shanghai one, but what I liked about it was that we saw the olympic venues, which shows us the diff. places the olympics would be held in 2008 and also the model of the city of Beijing...what i learnt there was that the city of Beijing is split up into 5 sections circularlly (a new word i invented???) with the centre being the onld city of beijing which is like super small....anywae it was quite interesting learning more about how the city of beijing is planned and built.....that night we had home stay....I could not believe my eyes when i saw Zhao Nan's house also, OMG, almost the same as Singapore's renovated HDB flat one leh... didn't noe their living standard was dmn high, but still it was super cold lar... close window, close door also still have an air-con room....

Day 3, school visit again....lessons today was way much more interesting, a lesson on Peking opera and another on chinese art..... it was definitely not easy to fall asleep in these two lessons comparing it with the previous day..... and o..k... after today the boredom of school is finally over... and we went to the Forbidden City/Gu Gong/ Zi Jing Cheng, this is one of the cheng tou i mention earlier, the other one is the great wall/ wan li chang cheng mah!!! anywaes this place is not as big as I thought.... but still many things still amaze me..... they only have small vats of water which are made of iron and steel(i think) and coated with gold, which are all around the palace and guess what they are used for.... i don't think u would find out....they are used to put out fire if it really occurs in the palace.... OMG... imagine how big the fire would be if there was one and imagine how little water it is..... also the enclosiveness (yeah another invention of mine) of the place can also be felt...i don't think the emperor left or anyone entered....

Day 4, start of all the fun, went to a company to visit, the chairman of DIANJI KE JI talked to us.... Obviously when such a big boss come and talk I would be all ears and picked up one thing about entrepreneurship that i would never forget..... In the business arena, the real competition is not product vs product but employees vs employees, which means the product is juz the lowest level of competition, it is the employees that count, even if you have a very good product but lousy employees everything would still fail... after that went to Liu li chang the cultural street of Beijing where my shopping spree in Beijing began.... bought a seal as a birthday present for Marcus here and another for myself anothe still got alot more which i forget... in the afternoon was the scavenger hunt, honestly, it was not as fun as the Shanghai one but still I managed to go on a shopping spree then from Xi dan-Xiu Shiu Jie (the Xiangyang lu of Beijing)-Wang Fu Jing (the orchard road there)... forget about the bad things that happened.. but bought alot of cheap cheap stuff from Xiu Shiu Jie which J helped us bargained for...... juz watch him pissing off everyother shopkeeper, but anyway still got what I want and guess what Xiu Shiu Jie is a building dedicated to selling Fake Stuff OMG.....to think the government supports that.....

Day 5 was the day THE GREAT WALL and the summer palace, let me talk about he summer palace first...stating the fact that it was definitely a beautiful place if we had time to roam about, but instead we were rushing to find our way out of darkness in the end through the "forests", regretted not being able to see Suzhou jie which was superb in photos that i saw..... but anyway the great wall was the highlight, we started off in the morning which was then bloody cold, but as time progresses the temperature was not that bad after all...... just imagine winds pushing you off the ground and making you fall down and you can imgaine what it is like on the great wall, some parts are indeed bloody steep and i was wondering won't the soldiers fighting on the wall be exhausted first while fighting as I think I was like having anothe Physical Training section with Jon Tam up there, my legs were hurting after 3 hours on the wall, even the part which was easier to climb was also super tiring...... but anyways it was quite fun going to one of the seven wonders of the world and one down six to go to achieving perfect target.... the next one may be the Taj Mahal which I really hope to go....

Ok the last and final day Day 6..... nothing much happened juz that my group got second for our presentation and we went to hard rock cafe for lunch and from then i started to buy hard rock cafe stuff... and the it was a bye bye to Claudine, Kathleen and Karene, a second goodbye to them, the last time was Claudine, Kathleen and Grace, but still it was not a good feeling but I feel that the did their best and but in every effort to give us pleasant and unforgettable memories to bring back home...... Thanks!!!! :)))))

Feeling sad after Beijing.....

Today is the 3rd of December 2005 and the time is 2307.... Haizzz we had juz lost comp..... and i'm still feeling sad.... I think even sadder than Marcus... don't know what he is thinking also... but nvm lets not talk bout him...

I'm bloody pissed with both the 2nd and 3rd man attitude after comp. lah... EXCUSES AND MORE EXCUSES (already expected this would happen, luckily I did not shout shut up to them on the corridor really.....) on why we lost...have they ever thought and reflected why we lost also.... I don't really think so...... OK.. and also don't know why Zhi yang is getting weirder and weirder and bu hui zhi zuo zhu zhang also not serious at all lor...what's wrong i really don't know..... and i don't want to really get into each category of comp. and i think even if we went in with last year's standard we would still LOOSE.... and to think the 2nd and 3rd man is saying like yes to Feb comp in a casual way is like totally unbelievable and untrustable and I really don't know, I feel that they treat comp. like juz a game when they like it they come when they don't they won't come that's totally ridiculous.... for me i really want to go to Feb comp and get back all the glory we lost today... and I only know Marcus would be on my side and the other three would definitely remain unknown.....

Forget about the unhappy part today, which obviously I can't, and just switch focus to the Beijing trip, it was totally wonderful and trust me saying goodbye to claudine, kat, and kar. the second time was definitely not a good feeling, it has almost been a week since i'm back from the trip and i'm only posting on it now because of the competition which we lost.... ok... but i learnt alot during the trip on entrepreneurship, innovation and more about Beijing and even China on the trip the money was definitely well spent and I got to visit the Great Wall Yeah!!!!!!! One down and another six to go........ therefore I would be blogging about my trip in another post to give me more space to expand my writing....

It's bout time 4 teams left and 1 booty for a million bucks... who will muster the correct combination of brains, brawns and teamwork to win the one milloion dollars, here are my usual round of predictions nearing the end of each season.... after hearing rumours and revelations on the internet, i do not want to predict each team chances of winning and their finishing position....

Linz: There are said to have won on the internet, do not know whether it's true, hope not.... cause i waant my favourite team to win, that would be the Weavers......

Weavers: No doubt that I like them, their spirit and how they performed on the race, hope they win although chances is quite slim.... remember there is another yield???? but guess what, I think they would at least make the final three...

Bransens: If my predictions are accurate this team would be one of the final three and would be racing for the million bucks, however i think there chances of winning are the slimmest lor..

Godlewskis: Although they are in first place now, I see them slipping into last in the next next leg to get eliminated first among these 4.... so work harder!!!!!!

One can say that I had experienced one of the best eight days in my life, having both LLTC and OBS back to back. Although I can only say that LLTC was quite enriching for me, I learnt alot from it than I initially thought, one of the best was the Journey with the Dream, it was one of the best experiences I ever received realising how fortunate and blessed we are compared to the people at the home.

All right that's all I have to say about LLTC and now for OBS, I must start by saying it was completly inspirational, enriching, fun, perfect etc. I should not have thought it was crap, after going through it I feel that the memories that it had given me can me compared to Mediacorp December Dazzle, Bizworld, Service Learning and all my overseas trip all who which brought me wonderful memories.

Let me start on my joureney through OBS, I just have to say one thing first, this watch that I had been in can be listed one of the best groups I ever been in, yep, all the qualities of a good team can be definitely found within, along with our instructor Shu Yun, who guided us through getting to know each other, the activities we had and solving conflicts, I hope although the course is over the Raleigh spirit is still alive, remember all the commitment and promises we made and you would find this experience useful to your life.

There were many firsts that I had done during this course, but I feel the most memorable one was the quarry, during the land expedition I think we were the only group to climb to the top of the quarry, the highest point on Pulau Ubin of about 65m, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking, could almost see the whole island of Pulau Ubin and the occassional sight of helicopters flying past. However the real fun came the next day, we were down in the freshwater of the quarry down below to do rafting, this time I could really feel the fun in rafting compared to ACE camp which was like crap, the water was also quite shiok, never swim in freshwater before considering not bathing like for the past 24-28 hours, I can feel the freshness of the water, this can definitely not be done if we went to Pulau Ubin alone.

Another thing was the night activity on the last night, walking through the forest at night and crawling through the pipe which was totally dark and cannot see anything one, at first I was quite scared lah, but after crawling for a while the scariness just went away and all the time I took the chance to think and reflect eventually coming out with my commitment of facing what lies ahead with confidence, courage and determination, never togive up easily.

Of course, there were other thing I remember, the jetty jump which was absolutely cool, learning how to belay and also climbing the tripod, not forgetting kayaking. These have provided me enough memories to last a lifetime adding on to the friendship forged during the course, it is definitely ireplacable.

Finally, I would also like to take the chance to say that these would not be possible if not for our instructor Shu Yun, she provided us with one unique experience after another and was also very understanding to us, so thank you, gonna miss u, wo men you yuan zai jian mian ba.

How time flies.... it has been whoa! cannot count maths lousy, aiyah just a long time since i typed into this blog...nvm.... alot of things happeed lor... 1st, got out the clutches of exams, first time im quite confident of doung well, ut don't know whtehr will be the result i want..... thinking of trying the tactic of reverse psychology again...

Also...cheer for TAR, the new season has premiered and it total is the best and it rock... today's Tuesday tomorrow can watch another episode, can't wait, also they won the Emmy, cheers again. Survivor Guatemala also premiered, which i find interesting and nice but surely still cannot beat my favourite season: The Outback.

Actually i have no idea what to blog for now.... I just came and just type something to make my blog look nice...too long never update also not nice lor.... one more wish be4 i go.... is that 10-14 october would be over in 5 4 3 2 1... and boom finish and be over in a blink of an eye .....please......

So many things have happened during the past month, and one thing I have to say, I feel that yesterday missing POP for the last day of the Beijing thing was way worth it, I can't wait to go for the trip in November manzzzzz (if i'm in, hopefully it's so).... I had fun following them the past three days and also interacting with them... besides that, i realised one more thing about Bryan, he just cannot SHuT Up, even in NLB also cannot shut up, librarian come ask him shut also cannot shut up, must wait for wait???? police to come izzzzittt......

I heard alot of things happened during training and POP yesterday (don't know is true annot), Kevin next Japanese torturer? POP was in a very very amusing mood? Roy screwing up during POP? aaahhhrrrmmmm..... dotz and more dots mannzzzz..... but i went for the Beijing thing, i found that the group of people which followed them yesterday was not as likeable as the group the first few days, just don't want to elaborate. Also the mood was also quite emotional as not only it was the last day, the prepared an item for us during the farwell session and ending of with a "Welcome to Beijing", imagine the Olympics saying welcome to beijing, it's the same....... but indeed it was quite and emotional one as we said our goodbyes and took photos, talking about what had happened during the past few days.....

Going back abit... AP.... What I think was that everything went on perfectly well except the two speakers, omg, i wonder how were they chosen to be speakers manzzzz..... i remember they also don't know how to pronounce the word community in the Josephian pledge, Dui Lian....... all along i think everything was good and also one more thing i think the cadets think we are not serious enough that's why they don't listen, especially to Marcus, shout so many time also never fall in....

otc..... i heard 4 people from our squad had already made up their minds already a year ahead... Marcus, Shawn, Zhiyang and ....... forget lieow izzzit Kevin????? I read Roy's blog he said he won't even considering persuading me to go for it, not wanting to get a door slammed to his face, yep I think he is way correct, I never even thought about going for otc at all, honestly, now I feel that I don't want to go, cause I feel that after 4 years in St. John's I want to go and explore other things outside.......

But since i never write the affirmations letters yesterday, I just have one thing to say " During my time as CPBS NCO 1, i will strive and work hard for the unit and bring the department to greater heights, don't worry Roy, your strong foundation that you have built up in your department is in good hands we (me and Zhi Yang) will treat it like treasure"......

Yep....the emmy awards are back again and the category that I am most interested in of course it would be the Best reality-competition programme category.... as usual the nominations have already been released. I found that there is not much change in the nominations this year also except for 1 show, here are the nominees for Best reality-competition programme:

National Competition...

Trainings over the past week just to prepare us for this competition... There were two main objectives that we set for ourselves at Nat. comp between the five of us Marcus, Yong Sheng, Joel, Liqian and me, firstly if we get top 5 we would be very happy and secondly if we can get a better position than AA team we would be even happier......hehe.......

Ok so this was how the competition went about, we reported at Hai Xing Catholic in the morning damn bloody far away but meet the doctor first at White Sands cause he treat 10 of us for breakfast 2 teams what, so good. Recap on some things he taught us like giving numerous different kinds of reasons to the judge if we did something wrong, good tactic that Marcus used for the comp..... talking crap.....hehezzzz........

Truly we tried our best for this years National Comp. and was quite happy to be even able to get a trophy lor, we won the best CPR and second for Long Case trophy.... I thought we were just going to stand there throughout the whole prize giving ceremony. One more thing I must say Liqian super nervous lor......don't know how to control his nervousness omg, making the whole team worry for him..... one more chapter comes to a close and I hope that our team can repeat the results that we obtained for the zone competition last year in this year zone competition by sweeping everything, if we train well hard and be serious when needed it would not be that difficult to achieve this result again............

What a wonderful way to go through the June Holidays

Firstly, welcome all to my new blog..... Stef Sun rox manzzzz... you noe she won the best female singer for 2005 Taiwan Golden Melody Awards, it is EQUIVALENT to the Grammys of the chinese pop industry......

Same as my last December Holidays, this June Holiday was superb...if I was to describe the whole holiday or reflect on it I think I would get superbly and very very irritated and not finish this post so I will just write one or two sentences on each event....

This year's June Camp was the best manzzz. hail to gemini NCO's for making this one of the best camps eva... My most favorite part was The Amazing Race, it would be even better if the area was extended down to City Hall area so it would be more fun a have a larger scale area to move about.

I didn't went for Service Learning Camp very very sad, work so hard to raise money for it in the end cannot attend but i was very contended seeing the camp run successfully and wish to thank CCSS for the chance to organise such an activity... Thanks to Sarah, Sharon, Daryl..... (this are all the names that i remember should hav some more one)

Then Shanghai trip, OMG this was the best manzzzz, went to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, celebrated my birthday in one of the Hangzhou's restaurants on 7 June with Alex Tham and Jonathan Wang, my birthday actually was on the 14.This time i saw a different sight of the three cities compared to when i went there in december, the winter scene was absolutely fabulous but the scene in spring-summer was also fabulous. The Little Entrepreneurs really plan the programme quite well, but I feel that there were more areas of Shanghai that we could have explored to learn zbout business such as in the tourism industry like going up the oriental pearl tower, made friends on this trip regrets not changing addressess to be pen-pals for Suzhou Bi Bo zhong xue de xue sheng Shanghai's school was absolutely hmmmm......... no impression Suzhou one left a deep impression in me and also Xiaoyan Jie our dao you was way much better than Xiao Ji my previous Dao You. So Thank You Claudine, Kathleen, Grace (for being our facilitator we were so happy that our group won and did not dissappoint you) and Xiaoyan Jie (xie xie ni zuo wo men de dao you, wo cong ni na bian xue le hen duo dong xi)

Finally, Bangkok, finally my BIZWORLD treat and prize, wah liao Bangkok was damn bloody hot and humid, yep Apple (our dao you) said was way way way corrrreeecctttttt...... Bangkok has only two seasons...... Anyone Guess??????? Hot and cold? humid and Cold, Sunny and Rainy nope noep and nope it is Hot and Very hot, but anywayzzzz... i did not feel anything wrong as most importantly i'm in a foreign country so i must explore explore and explore, too bad only three days two nights thus no chance to sit the water taxi criesssss........... next time must go back Bangkok and sit that and visit the famous sights among the Chao Phraya river....... One more thing Air Asia was superb, although it was a budget airline hiccups would occur the two hour delay of the flight, aiyah, nothing lah, i had a wonderful time staying for 5 hours in the airport after check in, wished this happened in Shanghai, the merchandise that they sold on the plane was also of top class standard the things damn nice manzzz... bought one Air Asia aircraft model, and two T-shirts of Air Asia.... very very very worth it souvenier.......... now i want to try the other budget airlines especially Jetstar Asia...... Too bad our whole team didn't come and most importantly forfeited thier prize, oh so sad..... the feeling of being overseas is juz peeerrrfeeecccttt....!!!!...!!..

Next the sec 2. barbecue, luckily i jumped into the pool first before getting dunked as i ws getting way too bored sitting down there watching them play Table Tennis....... and by the way $10 for such food OMG...... be more cleverer lah why muz order from caterer don noe where to buy izzit, i went there eat one plate of noodles and about two chicken wings only and must pay $10, aiyoh but nvm , at least the Sec 2's organise the barbecue well......

LLTC (B) i don't know whetehr i should go or not, one side of my head says just go on, and the other side says don't want lah.....OMG headache.......

Also, lots of homework, corp's work to manage I hope I can meet the deadlines......
